New package info released!

Yesterday I phoned and had the code applied to a reservation I made on line previously with no problem, but now I went in to my online reservation and under park tickets type...it now just says ERROR :earseek: . The amount I am being charged is the discounted rate I was quoted yesterday. Do you think I should be worried that there is a problem with the reservation or have other people experienced the same problem?? :confused3

I have the same thing, under park tickets it says ERROR :confused3 I wonder what it means? I hope it's nothing bad.

I have the same thing with error listed under tickets and I don't see dining mentioned anywhere and I thought it was on there before.

I called back to make sure everything was still right and the CM read the reservation to me and it was just as it was supposed to be. Maybe the online system doesn't recognize these new codes yet?

Anyone else have this problem? If you have dining, did it say it online?

I'll feel better about it when the confirmation arrives in the mail.

Well I saved $269. I'm still wondering about AAA though. If a code comes out for them, I may have to see if they can save me anything...

BTW I have a Disney Visa and the reward section does not list any package discount for WDW...

I have the same issue in my online reservation- just says error and no dining mentioned either - it seems like a system glitch- I am going to keep an eye on it and call if it doesn't change in the next few days- I don't want any surprises later!!

I have been reading here for a while but have not posted before.

This site has great information.

I just wanted to add that, I tried to use the YRD code and the lady told me the only way I could is if I paid with VISA. I tried to get her to check with a supervisor and she basically laughed at me and told me not to believe any of the information on "those" websites. She was 100% sure that NO ONE was able to book that code without a visa and anyone that said they did was lying.

I think I will try again tommorrow and see if I have better luck.

You should definately call back. I was given the code and I don't have a Disney Visa card. I double checked today on the website and the new amount is already there so it's definately been applied.

Sometimes it is better just to call back, as you have said and try again ::yes::

I find that overall most CM's are accomodating and nice, but occassionally you will get a CM (that maybe is having a bad day) that just doesn't seem to want to help you :confused3

I called my TA today at CAA (Canada's version of AAA) and told her about the new info. She was surprised I knew this before her as she said that they usually get something from Disney about the upcoming promotions.

Anyway, she checked into it for me and has managed to get my base tickets changed to "Fun Tickets" which are park-hoppers with 2 plus days at no extra cost to me!

So I am happy with the "extra's".

I did call WDW today as I also have a 2 day room only add on that I booked with WDW directly (not a package)at AKL and the CM didn't want to give me a new quote for a 2 day package (told me AKL was Sold Out).

It was still available online. :confused3

So, I will call again tomorrow and see what happens :flower:

Good Luck to all who suceed in getting a little extra "Magic" :)

Mine TOO! I haven't called about it yet... was waitin to see what if any diser's had this happen and hopeing someone knew why...

Jaime

This is my first time to use a code or anything like this and if it's true that tomorrow they are going to release another general public code (yes i know it's a visa code Nov 1st but it's still available to the general public, aka the same thing!) it would really upset me to know I have to call back and cancel ANOTHER ressie (they had to cancel my room only ressie, to go to the myw package so i could apply the code) just to apply another code... that would stink.

Jaime

Well count me in on the ERROR message too, I just check my ressie online, and it says for tickets, error, and there is no mention of my dining package. I'm sure since all of us are getting the same thing, that it's a glitch........ at least I hope so!!!! LOL

I can't imagine the CM's would all make the same "mistake". I'm sure there is nothing to worry about!!

I was having trouble accessing "My Vacation" on the WDW website so I sent an email to Tech support and this is the reply I got back from them:

"Dear *****,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort. We apologize for the inconvenience. We are aware that some of our guests are unable to access their bookings online and are working on correcting this issue.

Remember, to be able to access your reservations, your profile must match the information that was given to the reservations agent, if you made this booking off-line, so be sure to keep it up to date"

It seems they do have a "Glitch" in their system right now ::yes::

iluvwesties (aka Carol) :earsgirl:

I had called Disney directly a month a go and made reservations for Jan 1-7th and was quoted $1993 for 6 nights 7-day Hoppers and dining for 2 adults and 2 children at All-Star Movies. They also quoted me $2,465 for the same package at POR. I called today and using the YRD code, I got POR, hoppers plus Water parks and dining for $2145! That's a savings of $320! Pretty good. If a better deal comes along, I'll take it, but I was happy to upgrade from All-stars to POR for only $148 plus get the water parks, etc.!

Only 60 days! :bounce:

Mary are you lurking by any chance? Is there a difference between the old codes, YRE/YRD and the new codes you posted with them of YQS/YQX? By difference I mean in the discount or additional perks. At this point I am assuming that the difference would be that Visa is not associated with the promo even though the general public was able to book under the Visa promo and did not have to use their Visa.

I was just checking mousesavers and was wondering the same thing.

Just got off the phone with Disney and the "Q" code came up to the exact amount of the "R" code that I used yesterday.

Oh well, $102.00 will almost cover the 4 extra meals that we will have to pay for at Tony's! Was really looking forward to the free dining but didn't really think that would happen!

You all can call and check but the codes are not different.

I called this morning...used the YQX code (YDR not available) and had to switch from All Star Movies to Pop Century to get the discount of $152.18. I WAS able to keep my preferred room status with this one, though.

I'm second guessing myself wondering if I should have just left the reservation alone...anyone stayed at Pop Century recently? I have never stayed there...I'm reading that they are still building there, so wondering if there will be noise?

If you've never stayed there, it's worth a stay. I prefer All Stars as it has more of a Disney feel to it. There was no more noise at Pop than All Stars though.

FYI---I was again told (by 2 different cm's today) that for my dates (Jan 31-Feb 6) at All Star Movies, I COULD get the discount, BUT I would have to drop preferred room status. For me, with 2 y/o twins it's not worth saving the $150 to chance having to schlep a mile to the bus...

I was just happy to find anything that worked for me...I will take the small savings. I really wish it was bigger though! ;)
