Congrats to the Saints. At least u guys have the winning colors of a Superbowl Team.....Black and Gold....Just like last year Champions.

I have a great recipe for black and gold jello shots. LOL

Congrats to the Saints although I was pulling for the other team and will be pulling for the other team in the Super Bowl as well.

For the gold ones , I used pineapple jello with coconut rum.

For the black ones, I used black cherry jello with a couple drops of black food coloring and cherry vodka.

They were yummy and good luck obviously because we know who were the champions last year.

To be fair, I'm cheering for the Colts because they are close to home (my team didn't even make the playoffs -- the Bears are horrible); I was cheering for the Vikings because I am a huge Brett Favre fan...always have been, always will. But since the Vikings couldn't win, I'm glad it was the Saints and not the Cowboys or some other team form that division.

I saw questionable officiating on both sides. It tends to even out IMO.

Congratulations to the Saints and thanks for such a good game. It was a nailbiter just as playoff games should be. I felt a bit sad for Favre but the right team won.

Yeah, that's true, but when you're given a touchdown that wasn't earned, and win by 3 that's a big deal. I like to see proper competition unsullied by stuff like that and it's just too bad. Looking forward to the Superbowl!

I agree...the officiating ws horrible on both sides. The late hit on Favre one time was ridiculous; the interfernce pass on the Vikings on that pass was ridiulous--no way that ball could be caught. It was bad on both sides of the ball. I felt a LOT sad for Brett. I'm going to miss him on the football field.

I had no favorite in the game, but it's really unfortunate when a team goes to the Superbowl due to bad officiating. Congrats to the Saints but there will always be doubts now and that's not good for the NFL.

Vikes: Penalties (Number-Yards) 5 - 32 (average - 6 yards/penalty)
Saints: Penalties (Number-Yards) 9 - 88 (average - 10 yards/penalty)
REALLY sounds like the refs were trying to give it to the saints. Give me a break.
Otherwise, yes, I agree there was some carppy calling all around, but both teams were playing against each other and the refs, so what are you going to do?

Favre did not lose the game. Adrian Peterson and the others who fumbled the ball lost the game. Brett should have run the ball and he would have had the first down...bad decision on his part. But the game was lost by Peterson a heck of a lot earlier than that.

I was actually glad to see him get knocked on his be-hind a few times. They kept showing his wife in the stands and I couldn't help but sympathize for her. Did he even consider what he was putting her through when he made the decision to play in Minn at his age (not to mention a kicked dog is more loyal than his arrogant behind)? Maybe now he will take a seat and start watching the games from the stands, where he belongs.
