I just made my ADR's (in case I decide to upgrade):

Mon Sept 24 - Lunch @ Tony's
Tues Sept 25 - Lunch @ Yak & Yeti & Dinner at Kona (couldn't get 'Ohana:sad2:)
Wed Sept 26 - Lunch @ Sci-Fi
Thurs Sept 27 - Lunch @ Coral Reef
Fri Sept 28 - Lunch @ Prime Time 50's
Sat Sept 29 - Dinner @ The Plaza

I am staying 7 nights and 6 days (flying in from the West Coast) which is why I have an extra meal.

I have heard rave reviews about Ohana. We ate there for the character breakfast last time we were there and we weren't that impressed with the food (although my daughter loved the juice). Is it the dinner that everyone loves? What are the reasons that it is so popular? I am confused, so any explanation would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to be missing out on a great meal because I've been basing my opinions on breakfast!

For those looking for a Facebook group:

There is one on FB already. For anyone that would like to join, it consists of friends from the Sept 2012 codes thread & the other Sept 2012 thread. Friend request this person: Stephanie Gruber King and send her a message that you are from Dis boards Sept '12.

Sorry, on another subject...

Can you add me to the first post? :lovestruc

We will be staying at the Contemporary, from Sept 14-20th.

THANKS!!

Changed our Sept. 9th dinner plans to Mama Melrose's with the Fantasmic package. I was looking at a photo that another member here posted, and it looked like those with the dining package had a specific seating section designated to them.. Do you have to sit there? I ask because it's way off to the side (Ursula, Witch).. Even though the water goes all the way around, I think this is something we'd try to sit closer to the center for.

Today is our 180 days!

Just posting because of a possible trip change that I'm kinda excited about! I WAS planning this as a solo trip for myself, to do the ToT race, since I was single....but, I'm not single anymore! :woohoo::lovestruc So, this might not be a solo trip after all. We'll see! I'm just happy that I have 2 extra park tickets, not just one, lol

We did the Fantasmic package last year and sat in the assigned seating. I don't know if you can sit anywhere else, but by going in the assigned seating, it saves you from having to sit in a HUGE line FOREVER. We were able to walk right up and in and get a good seat. Before the show started I was a little concerned about having to be off to the side, but it really made no difference. The show is fantasmic (hehe) no matter where you are sitting! If I were you, I would stick with the assigned seating so you don't have to fight the crowds.
:thumbsup2

Hi everyone. I will be traveling to WDW and staying at POP from 9/22/12-9/29/12. I am so excited:goodvibes I have free dining, but just quick service so I wont be making any reservations. That's ok. I may try and do a breakfast somewhare. I was thinking Trail's end, but that seems like a hassle to get to that area by bus:sad1:

Count me in!!! Going Sept 23-29. Staying at CBR. This will be the kids 1st time!! I am so excited. I just made my ADR's yesterday. Got what I wanted!:goodvibes

Question- I booked CRT for breakfast. My daughter will be 3 and I can't decide if I should by her a princess dress. I bought a few princess sun dresses online at Disney today. I just think the dress up dress will just be to hot. Does every little girl where the dress up dresses? Thanks!

I would say about half had the princess dresses when we went. My daughter dressed as Jasmine (she likes to say jasmine is a hoochie b/c her tummy shows, lol) so her costume wasn't too hot. Maybe you could find some sort of like tutu that you can wear shorts under and a tank top, so she can still be a little frilly! :cutie:

As long as the little one can still get a good view of all the effects and what's happening on stage, then we'll stick to assigned seating. :) Do you get to exit separate from the people who just show up, like you do when you enter?

I don't think we exited seperately, but we did leave the same way we came in, so we were near the exit. The show was at the end of the night, so it was pretty much a like a herd of cattle heading for the gate anyhow, so I don't think it would have made much difference :)

Oh no! I hope the breakfast is OK, as I have that on my ADR plan  May I ask what you didn't like about the food?

Oh no, sorry, it wasn't bad. I just meant it was nothing to write home about. It was a while ago, but I think we had the Mickey waffles and sausage and the like. My kids liked seeing lelo and stitch and they had a little parade through the resturaunt that my daughter loved! I'm sure you'll have a great time!:)

Sorry I've been away from thread for a few weeks, you know, obsessing over dining forums and ADR's.
I made it to first page, cool.
On the "Big Board" now, This is gonna be a great September for all of us.

I'm going September 5-12, staying at All Star Music. I didn't think I'd get a trip in 2012, so I'm super super excited to be going!
