Celebrating our 35th anniv at Port Orleans, Sept 9-15!
All Dining ressies made. We have never stayed at POR. We are CBR lovers, but they were sold out for free dining the week we wanted. Heard good reviews, but its Disney so I'm sure we will love it.

I stayed at POR for the 1st time last sept and fell in love with it.... booked again for this year.... same dates as yours!!
Maybe we will run into each other!!!

I made all of my dining reservations too!

Everything is feeling more real now! 180 days out! We'll be in WDW in September!

My excitement may seem excessive to the average person, but I'm guessing you all understand.

Got everything we wanted, right around the times we wanted I did have to call, was only able to make the first ADR online, but I had no problems.

We are going September 22-30 and staying in a cabin at Fort Wilderness with free dining!! We are so excited! I think I can make all of my ADRs on Sunday, the 25th according to a CM.

No, I have not heard about being able to book yet.

Disney previously said it would be open in "late 2012", but now rumors are going around that it will be open this summer. Just one of those "wait and see" moments!

First off, let me start by staying that we are now doing a Poly/BLT split stay and will be arriving in Disney on 8/28 and leaving on 9/9. We will be at the Poly from 8/28-8/31 then moving over to BLT from 8/31-9/9....so excited .

Now, since I haven't been on this thread in a while, and have noticed that we are showing our ADRs, here is mine (we will be on the DxDP from 8/31-9/9):

Just read that Rose & Crown changed their menu. No more Bangers and Mash. That is DHs fav meal at WDW, so looks like i need to change that adr.

Cant give you my opinion.... this will be my first time eating there (first time its on the ddp)

I have never been to the rainforest cafe at disney, but have been several other places. I think it would be a fun place to go with the kids if you are on the dining plan. In my expieriance, the food is overpriced (which won't matter so much with the ddp) and mediocre at best. The atmosphere, however, is pretty cool. Every so often they have a "thunderstorm" roll in and it gets a bit darker and you can hear thunder (nothing scary) and all the animals start making noises. Fun place, but I wouldn't expect a great meal.
