Maybe a dumb question, but are you actually taking your CD package with you? My Photopass + voucher to get the card was taped on the outside and I can't think of any reason I would need the CD package with me in the parks (other than to remind myself what locations will allow me to get the print package without paying for them).

I've been known to take other unnecessary things with me on trips though, but was just wondering what I might be missing.

It isn't a dumb question. My daughter, who lives in Colorado, is flying down there a day ahead of us. I'll open the CD and copy the files to my computer on her travel day. Then I'll either bring the CD down with us to give to her, or mail it to her, whatever she wants. She had planned to copy the CD to her laptop when she was here in December, but she didn't want to break the seal, either.

Told the kids we're going to see Nana and PopPop (who are in FL right now) and they were very excited. DS asked a little later "Do you think we could go to Orlando while we're there? I asked him why and he said "Well maybe we could go see Disney World for like a day" I can't wait for the 2nd 1/2 of their surprise when we pull up to Disney world and stay for 4 days!!!

Too sweet, that's what my daughter calls my parents too I think her dream would be for them to live near Disney World lol. They'll be so excited when you surprise them!

Can you get from Downtown Disney to MK by bus or do you have to get transported to a resort then to MK?

I have been looking for information on photopass+ all week, and I can't find anything on it. I'm understanding the pp+ to be the photo package you can purchase before leaving home and all the photos taken by photographers and on certain rides are all on one CD...is that what it is? I would love to get more if possible. TIA

For PP+ - does it come with a CD of stock photos?

I just pre-ordered it. I feel like when it was first announced and I looked at it that it came with that separate $40 CD of photos from the parks, but I'm not seeing that on the description now?

Anyone get it recently and can confirm or deny?

I ordered PP+ about a month ago and got a voucher and CD. Haven't opened it yet though.

Yes. the FP+ comes with a CD of stock photos.

I haven't opened my CD package yet. Once you open it you can't get your money back. I'll open it once the family arrives in WDW. Yes, I'm that paranoid.

No worries! I'm honeslty kicking myself for not ordering it, I got the regular. I didn't have any ADR's at the time and now we have 2 that will have PP photographers there and we're doing Pirate's League. I'm going to throw myself at the mercy of the CM's in the park and hope they'll upgrade me for $30.

Awesome - thanks for the info! That CD is something I wanted to get last trip and knowing it was included with PP+ was just another perk! Glad it's still included.

After watching the nightmare known lovingly as Danica eat desserts the past few days, I've grown a tad concerned for the well being of the clothing we'll be bringing My lord, how does that child make such a mess?! Seriously! She's 5. She knows where her mouth is!

P.S. - Today is Skyler's birthday!!! One big event to check off before we leave. Now to party plan and hopefully time will fly by! I'm sure the family drama surrounding the party will keep me occupied

You can still get the PP+ at the parks, it just won't be the discounted price. Are you more than 14 days out? If you've still got time you can call the number on the PP site and upgrade and still get the discounted price I believe.

I've been under the assumption that you get the pics from certain rides, the regular photopass pics ( park icons & meet-n-greets) and character meal pics. Is that right? We don't do characters anymore, DS has out-grown them, but we would love the ones from throughout the parks, maybe I should just pre-order the CD for the discount. We have ADR's at Biergarten, Boma, Plaza Restaurant, Wishes Dessert Party, Rainforest Cafe (DTD) and Mama Melrose's. I think there's a CM photographer at the dessert party. Oh boy! How am I going to figure it out What do you all think?

No, there are no direct buses to the parks from DTD and the buses to not run between them early.

From what I read in a PP+ thread awhile back ago someone had said that they were charged the difference between the prepay PP price and the full price PP+ because it totally negated the discount they received

What restaurants are you going to? If they charge the full difference maybe it'd be better to just buy the pictures (or not buy them at all if they aren't that great).

The PP+ would give you the pics from the rides, the cd of pictures from all the photogs around the park, and the pictures that they take at character meals, etc.

I don't know if there is a photog at the dessert party or not. Do you think you'd be purchasing the ride photos and/or a CD if you did the regular PP?

My first trip I didn't know about PP until the first day I hit the parks. I bought the CD for $150 when I got home and had gotten our Tusker House photo package. I just pre-ordered the PP+ for the same price I paid last year and it will include so many more pictures.

I love the CD. It's so nice to have and we use those pictures for everything. I'd go for it for sure if you think you'd be getting the CD of photos regardless and you'll get at least 1 or 2 ride photos.

On another thread, someone listed a phone number to call and upgrade to plus before your trip. I didn't end up doing it, but if you search the Dis hard enough I'm sure you'll find it.
