*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

I've confirmed my switch from room only to package with dining plan. I'm still POR, Feb 7 thru 15th. (and I'm hoping for free dining too)

I just booked our Feb 2013 trip. We will be at the Art of Annimation in the Little Mermaid rooms from 2/22-3/1. Yeah. This will be my DD's 5 th year in a row going and my DS's 2nd. Fingers crossed though that a deal will open up.

I got everyone added to the list and changed what needed to be changed. How exciting that everyone's trips are getting booked, so it is now official! :cool1:

If anyone's info on the list has to be changed, please let me know. Thanks! :)

We have decided to go in early June instead, so I need to be removed from this thread. Thanks! Happy planning everyone. :goodvibes

Wow - my ADR's are fast approaching. I have a mighty big wishlist and a few I know for sure I want to shoot for. This is what I am aiming for (questions will follow):

BOG dinner
Sci Fi lunch (OOP)
Kona or Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose
Coral Reef or Biergarten or Chefs
Tusker breakfast
CRT
Luau
Whispering Canyon dinner
Ohana dinner

Questions (we are on the dining plan):

1) Due to doing the Luau and CRT and both take two credits I need to pay a few OOP. DH thinks we should pay CRT breakfast OOP. I think we should do Sci Fi lunch and one other just don’t know which one

2) I like to always add new ones. All the Epcot would be new to us, so which one: Coral Reef, Biergarten, Chefs. We are a family with two young girls. Which one?

3) We did the Fantasmic Plan last year to see if for the first time. Loved Mama Melrose, too. Or, try Kona for first time and it is our resort.

4) The one that we always do, but can’t fit it in is Chef Mickeys. Need to decide if I should drop Whispering Canyon, which would have been a new one and have been wanting to see that resort.

In regards to question #2, we enjoy Coral Reef and our granddaughters aged 7 & 10 when we took them liked it very much too. We had an early dinner ADR, arrived ahead of time for it and requested a table next to the tank which we received. If you're further away you may or may not have good aquarium viewing. When it was just Just DH & I we booked a Chefs de France lunch for me because I'm a nut for Remy. He makes the rounds on certain days between certain hours and if you're not seated at your table when he passes by you will miss him. Also, being animatronic, if he malfunctions he may not appear on a given day. Parents are advised to not mention seeing him to their children ahead of time so they won't be disappointed if they don't see him. Our lunch ADR at Chefs was 12 noon and Remy started at 12:30. You should be able to get a current schedule if you ask over on the restaurants thread. I think Mondays were a day off and possibly Sundays. This could have changed since Dec. 2010. We've never been to Biergarten.

Re #3, Kona is a reasonably priced restaurant compared to other Disney TS restaurants so you may wish to consider that being one of your OOP meals. Are you familiar with allears.net where you can check menus. They're not all current to the same dates but you'll get a general idea of how prices compare plus what is offered, sometimes especially helpful for figuring out where your children may find things they like.

I think my ADR date is August 15 so I have another month to figure out my choices for this trip. Have fun!

Can I get added in too!? We are staying at AofA Finding Nemo Suites Feb 8th-16th, for our first trip! My kids do not know about this trip, we are surprising them at Christmas! Soooo excited!

We will be there 2/9-2/15 at port orleans riverside. It will be my first visit and dd(almost 2 at the time of the visit) will be going with my husbands family!

I just realized I never joined the new thread. We will be at POFQ from Feb. 10-17. After that, we're going to the Fairfield Inn, and doing Discovery Bay, Sea World and Aquatica if the weather cooperates.

Thank you:flower3: I'm leaning toward Coral Reef!

It is official now. We will be at POFQ Feb. 11 - 15. Please change me from undecided to POFQ.

We'll be there at the same time. We're going to be at the POFQ from Feb. 10-17. We stayed there last year and my DH requested staying there again. I really wanted to try WL or go back to AKL, but he really liked POFQ.

:welcome: Got you added to the list! I am booking the Nemo Suite also but for Feb. 2-9. Can't wait to check out that pool! Hopefully the weather will be warm enough! :) How exciting to be planning a surprise! We surprised our boys last year for our trip and it was so much fun!
