I had their tape some time ago but dear only knows what happened to it. Loved them!!

LOL they've actually had seven albums that have been hits everwhere else in the world except the US! LOL they hold like the guinness book record for the largest number of people in the audience at an outdoor concert, it was in south america i know it had more than 100,000 people :earseek:

i bet they are on postage stamps! I really think they ought to at least have a cameo appearance in the new film for posterity LOL

showing my age too...*giggle*

taaaaaaaaaaake onnnnnn meeeeeeee... LOL

I love the Norway film almost as much as I love those seats! You look at them and all you see are those wooden poles seemingly ready to attack your back, but then you sit in them and they are the most comfortable chairs in the world.

I can't wait for the new film.

Ahhh, Norway. I had the pleasure of traveling to Norway several years ago and fell in love with the people and the scenery. The movie always takes me back with such fond memories. And yes, I, too, love the chairs. If only I could figure out a way to fit a couple of them in my fanny pack and bring them back to Dallas!

Of course, I would leave some money on one of the other chairs I would leave behind so I could say I paid for them. Stealing is not nice -- and it's so un-Disney! :hyper:

What CVW doesn't know is that there was at one time(and maybe still is) an office of the Norwegian Embassy in Tulsa::yes::
I've been there.

It's definitely time to update the Canada and France films. Those newlyweds in the France movie must be grandparents by now:eek:

CVW -- that's hysterical! Thanks for the comic relief in my day.

Yes, I sit through the movie every time I ride the Maelstrom. But, I am looking forward to a new movie.

DW & myself have watched the film every time we've gone on Maelstrom. I think it's very well done & it's nice they have seats-although they are kind of uncomfortable!

I like the film and have sat through it a couple of times. My only gripe is being trapped in the ride exit until the next film starts.

geek, that's a great story about your daughter.

Horizons16, your uncle has a country place? Does anyone know about it?

Len

Wow. A Norwegian Embassy in Tulsa? Maybe they could open a fusion cuisine restaurant and serve chicken fried herring. (And maybe a side of beer-batter reindeer.)

CVW - check your Private Messages. I think we possibly have a mutual friend from Oklahoma.

Hi, Len :wave2:. Got great airfare last night - so I am definitely on for Mousefest :cool1:

Don't even say it! I don't care if they update the Canadian film or not, but they can only update the France movie if they keep the same music ::yes::. Impressions de France is one of THE most relaxing things in all of WDW.

Greetings from Frisco, KristaTX !

I agree -- I also love the Impressions of France music. I have it on one of my Disney soundtracks and it is very relaxing to hear, especially traveling down the North Dallas Tollway! :wave2:

Hi, disneyaggie :wave2:. Yep - we have that music on a cd, too. Any time I'm in a bad mood I can listen to that or the Illuminations music and it picks me right up :).

Keep an eye out over on the DIS meets board about an upcoming DFW meet. There is some discussion about it over there already if you want to let your opinion be known.

I'll try to quit hijacking this thread, Len :). I guess I should say something about the Norway film. I've watched it many times. I like it, but I also welcome a new one. And I agree with the other posters who have commented on the seats in there ::yes::. I hope they don't replace those.

Thanks, KrisaTX ! I will check out the DIS meets board. :D

Now back to Norway . . . I would love to find out where Disney got the great chairs in the Norway film room. I love 'em! :p

No problem, KristaTX. I think the entire video from IdF might be available on the web somewhere.

Speaking of those newlyweds in IdF, was it just me, or did the groom look to be about twelve years old?

I keep hearing about being "trapped" to watch a film after the ride. We've never seen it so won't mind doing that but if its going to make me late for my PS, I'd like to leave. Is there an escape route? Seems weird not to be able to leave.

When you get off Maestrom, if there is a movie in progress, you will be held for the next movie. If there is a way around this, I'm not aware of it. Once the movie ends, the doors open to allow you in to watch the movie. If you don't want to watch the movie you just walk through the theater and out the other side with everyone who is exiting from the last viewing of the movie.
