I've been making an effort to stay out of these FP+ threads/battle royales as much as possible. But now that we've officially booked our next trip to the World (late April 2014)...I've got start diving in and gathering info. So my inital question is (and I'm sure this has been asked before)....when booking your FP+ attractions at 60 days out, do you have the +10 feature like you do with ADRs (180+10)?

There has been some speculation that FP will allow 60+14 booking for on site, but I think it's too early to tell for April

Anyone experienced this problem : when we log in to MDE and look at My Plans, our FP+ selections are all there and all good. But when we try to modify one of our FP+, none of them are right.

For example, let's say we have FP+ on My Plans page for Splash, BTMRR and Winnie The Pooh. When we try to change of those, it says we have FP for Space Mountain, Under The Sea and Dumbo...

Tought I would ask my fellow Disboards experts before calling Disney!

You need to make sure you click the specific day you want to change on the multi tab

ok - I got something that hopefully wont be too confusing...I have 5 day park tickets, I also have 1 ticket for Mickeys Christmas Party which is on a Tuesday - I'm not using one of my 5 day tickets for the party day. I go into MDE select my fast passes I get my 5 days HOWEVER it is making me choose the Tuesday for 1 of my days for fast pass selections and will not let me choose them on Wednesday which is a day I will be at a park the whole day.
I called a cm and he was very nice and choose my fast passes on Wednesday , they show up on my itinerary. Here is the kicker....when I go into select my fast passes on the days it is still allowing me to choose fast passes for Tuesday...
So all 5 of my days are already choosen for fp - Should I make selections on the Tuesday since I'm able to do so....OR will this mess up one of my days when I'm there????
I asked the cm and he said you only get fp for the # of tickets. I said but it is allowing me another day...what do I do????

FP+ will not be available to you until 60 days from check-in.

Can't make FP+ yet, but will be checking daily for that to open up!!!!!!

I would rather not use FP+ for my Christmas week trip. BUT I already ordered Magic Bands (I'm still a week out from 60 day mark)--as long as I don't make FP+ reservations on them, I could still use KTTW cards for old fashion FP, right?

Also, IF I make FP+plans at my 60 day window, but want to change based on reports of no double dipping and crowds, can I cancel the FP+ reservations and go back to just using KTTW (I would cancel before the trip)?

If I am taking my daughter to see Cinderella and it's only going to be her in the pic etc so I have to use MY FP+ too Will they let me in without using MY FP+ so that I can take her in as she is 8??

Also- what do they do about FP+ and child swap. If we all ride BMTR and hubby stays with younger dd- when we all get off he will have to go on ride alone?

Everybody entering an FP/FP+ queue must have an FP so yes, you need one too.

Everyone getting in the line must have a FP/FP+, no exceptions.

Rider Switch passes have not changed at all.

Make your FP+ plans- especially for Christmas week. Our experience 2 weeks ago, is that it is no longer "opt in" for the Magic Bands and FP+. You will be issued them at check in at your resort even if you did not "opt in" to the test before your trip or wanted to "opt out", and you will be told you should use them (those that opted out received a lovely shade of grey at check in). Some people were even wrongly being told by CMs that their KTTW cards were just for back up in case of glitches or issues and would not work for regular FPs, so they needed to set up FP+ if they wanted any FPs at all. This was not accurate- as the KTTW cards are working for regular FP even if you use the band and not the cards to enter the park. Currently, you are still being given KTTW cards and they work even though you have FP+ reservations. No one knows when this might stop. It could even be by Christmas that KTTW cards are a thing of the past at resorts, although I doubt it because right now things are so glitchy that I don't think there is any way that MDE/magic bands/FP+ are ready to handle the Christmas crowd. This week the reports are that regular FPs have been running out within 30 minutes to an hour of park opening for the big ticket items-- Christmas week is the busiest week of the year- much busier than now- and more people will be on FP+ by then. It may be next to impossible to get any regular FPs that week. Might as well have some FP+ set up so that you at least are guaranteed something. I do not believe that the fact that you have Magic Bands with FP+ capability, but simply did not set up any FP+ will in any way allow to to utilize the regular FP system if they decide to cut off access to both FP+ and regular FP being utilized together by then.

OK I've been reading through the MB/FP+ threads and have not really found info on my scenario. Staying 12/26-1/3 Off property with tickets ordered from undercover tourist.

Couple of things.

1) I'm assuming that we will not have access to MB since we are OP.
2) Will we have access to FP+?
3) if yes to 2 I guess we would need to link the UC tix to MDE account? and then we could get FP+ @ 60 days out?

or are we SOL and we can only do regular FP at the park?
