***NEW MyMagic & FastPass+ Official Information & FAQ Thread***

We are AP Holders and are currently making FP+ reservations. We have only been able to make 7 days worth of FP+ reservations. They're not consecutive days but after this, we keep getting the message that we need to "trade" a day to make more FP+ reservations.

Oh, I don't know if it matters, but our days are consecutive. I wonder what the rules will be... It will be nice when it all gets rolled out and we can know what to plan on. We will return in May.
 
We wondered about the days being consecutive too, however we tried to make FP+ reservations for a day in the middle of days we had already scheduled and it still said that we had to remove one day of FP+ reservations to continue.

AP holder here and we were allowed to make 14 days worth of FP+, after that it does ask us to trade a day. Our Room reservation is for 15 nights/16 days with no split or moves (all at the BWV).

Would you happen to know what happens for multiple trips a year? We got 8 days of FP+'s for our upcoming trip. I wonder what will happen when we return in May. (We're also thinking of a F&W trip in early Nov. '14.)
 

I thought I would try to get some help here. The support phone line must be very busy, I gave up after 30 minutes on hold.

Anyway on my desktop computer, I can see my two tickets and reservation for Fort Wilderness in MDE and I have a menu item for selecting FP+. When I click on it I get prompted to link reservations/ tickets but when I try and link the ticket it says it is already in use by someone. So does this mean something is wrong with my account or I just do not have FP+?

Also I downloaded the mobile app and when I try and link reservations or tickets it tells me it is already linked to my name. So if it is already linked to me why is it not showing in my list of tickets/reservations?

Is there a better phone number to call for the MDE mobile support?

Don't mistake "Make Fastpass+ Reservations" link as meaning you are eligible. It's there for everyone.

If you are checking in to FW before Oct. 21st, you are not eligible.
 
Well if makes you feel better (and I know it won't) I have been having inconsistencies between the MDE app (which I prefer) and MDE online. Ever since I replaced my last Pop night with a night at AKV with gifted DVC points, things have been quirky with the app (can't modify FP's for the POP portion of the stay...) But since the online MDE still has all of my FP's I haven't worried too much about it. Well we are 3 days from check-in and now my MDE app doesn't show my FP's (just my family's) and online it shows NONE of them for anyone!! Whew! Just took screen-shots of the app and will now go in and try to reserved them again online hopefully! Yikes. But I guess I have something last minute to work on since I am almost packed.

I posted the above on the BOG FP thread. Just FYI if anyone is having this super quirky stuff going on. I might actually call first - before fixing it myself. I'll post here if I get a resolution. :)

I wanted to share my experience with setting up my MB with an existing 10 day non expiring park hopping pass.

My wife and I decided "last minute" that we wanted to head down to Disney for the Food & Wine Festival. For us last minute means about 3 months in advance as we typically book out at the 11 month window for DVC reservations. We couldn't get in at the Boardwalk hotel so we went for our plan B which is staying at the Swan or Dolphin hotel. We got our hotel reservations booked and are going to be joined by another couple and their 2 kids.

After hearing about the new MB being available we decided to book our first night at an on property Disney hotel so we can each get our fancy new MBs. Our friends are Annual Pass holders so they went in and plugged in their AP ticket IDs and they have everything associated with their profile and are now ready to make their FP+ reservations. When I went into my profile I saw our current 10 day park hopping non expiring tickets but they haven't been associated with our reservation so we can't book our FP+ days.

I called Disney and was routed to a group that is handling MB related issues (I didn't catch the name of the group). After talking through what I was trying to accomplish the cast member was able to confirm what I was seeing on the MDE page. She placed me on hold to contact another group to get this resolved. She came back and told me that a request has been submitted to an internal support team to get our current passes assigned correctly. The turn around on this is typically one week. She confirmed my email address and informed me I would be contacted when this was resolved.

Has anyone else been down this road? If so I would love to hear about your experience.

Can anyone tell me if it's worth it to get Fastpasses for Dumbo now that there are 2 rides and an indoor play area? I'm trying to decide if I should replace that one with Rapunzel meet and greet for my daughter and I and a different one for my husband and son. But I haven't been there since they opened the new Dumbo to know how the wait is.

I'm wondering similar things. What is the Rapunzel meet n greet like right now? Does she share a space with Cinderella? What about Ariel? Should we get a FP for her?
 
We check in on Oct 6th, staying until Oct 12. It seems reservations checking in on Oct 7th are part of the test. Yeah I know, missed by one day but we booked this trip in March to ensure our chracter and meal reservations.

Is there a way to get the bands? Seriously, I missed this by one day! There has to be a way, right?

You could split the stay, or move to a resort that is eligible before the 7th.

Click the fast pass plus link, click on the day you want to change, click on 'change or replace' and it should let you choose to change individual fast passes.

Yes you can make FP+ for just a few in the group.

there have been no reports of anyone being able to get MB earlier than the resorts start date. A split stay may be your only option.
