I just recieved a news alert from DVC saying they just added new discount dates for MVMCP but I can't find what these new dates are. Anyone know?:confused3

they are on the DVC member website. I don't remember the original dates, but I know a couple of them were there before--including the date we are attending, 12/7.

really? I don't see them there. This morning the same dates were listed that's why I asked. Can you tell me where on the DVC member site they are listed? When I click on MVMVP perks I just get the Broadway show stuff.

DVC Discounted tickets are available for MVMCP for the following dates:
11/10, 11/11, 11/14, 11/16, 11/20, 11/21, 12/04, 12/07, 12/09 & 12/16.

I got these buy following the links like I was going to purchase an Annual Pass on-line. Once there, change the ticket type to 'Special Events'.

Excellent, thank you! I just called and was able to get them for Nov. 10th although they originally quoted me the regular price. I had to tell them that more dates were added for the discount and finally she found them!:goodvibes

Once again the member website is messed up. I clicked MVMCP under member perks at WDW and instead of MVMCP info, there is info about Broadway tickets. MNSSHP info link works correctly but not the MVMCP link.

Wow, we have 8 tickets ordered for November 16th. I wonder if we can get a refund.

Bobbi,
I wouldn't count on MS to help you right now. They still don't have the discounted dates identified. The info they have does not match with the info that JaxFlBear found by following the path through DVC AP discount. MS wouldn't believe me and I had to call back to get a different CM who was willing to follow the paths to see how messed up things are. You might want to wait a few days and hope that MS and the website get up to speed and then maybe MS can help you. I certainly would think that you should NOT be penalized because Disney changed its mind about discount dates. This seems like yet another indication that the economy has hit home at WDW.

I sent them an e-mail. If that doesn't work, I'll also try at guest relations when I go to pick up the tickets with my DVC membership card. I "know" what you say about being messed up, I could not find the dates on the member site.

By the way...I made a new reservation in Pop Century for December 7 and 8 because my DGF's Ddaughter will be singing in CP on the 8th. She's a senior, and it's just happened that I've seen her each of the other 3 years, so DH and I are making it work that I can have this extra special trip. Will you be around then?

Please let me know what you find out. Bad planning on my part but I have 7 tickets for Dec 4 which originally was a premium date. Would be great to get a partial refund!:cool1:

How exciting for you, Bobbi! We will be there Dec. 2 - 9. Too bad we didn't know about your DGF's daughter--our CP package is for Dec. 4. Did you get one of those great AP rates at Pop?

I called MS this morning and the cm I spoke to said she would have to check into it and call me back. She just called and told me to return my tickets to Disney tickets with a letter explaining that we are DVC members and that I want the tickets replaced with the discount applied. I was told they would credit back my credit card the full amount and then charge the discounted price!

Cool! I am going to call them and check that out myself. I'll a little wary of sending the tickets back in the mail and being afraid they'd get lost along the way.

I called member services. They gave me the Disney number to call:
407-566-4985 The CM I talked to there said I can take the tickets to the customer service people at VWL when I am staying there in December and they will credit the difference in ticket cost back to me at that point. That is instead of sending the tickets back in the mail.

$50 plus tax is a nice discount. I'll take it!

Yah, I'm a little weary myself about sending them back. I think I will take your idea and take them with me. We are staying at SSR, should I take them to Magic Kingdom or will the CM's at SSR be able to take care of this. Maybe I will call.
