New Mugs & Pre-Paid Resort Package

I booked my WDW package (w/DxDDP) several months ago & the package included a free-refill resort mug. I just read that the new mugs with RFID tags have been installed in all of the resorts and is going live soon. I read the various pricing for the amount of days at that resort. My question is since this was included in the original package, does it mean that I will be able to use this for my whole stay? I'm at the one resort for 10 days. I just am unsure how this new system works on previously booked packages.

The mugs will be included in the price of your dining plan, so the tiered pricing won't have any effect on you. The tiers are just for people paying for the mug OOP.

As Missyrose said, no worries : you don't have to pay more for your mug is already included in your Dining Plan.
