New Menus????

before we sail on July. For those who will see the new menus, please please put your 2 cents.

If the menus are the rotation ones then you can order an entree from one of the other two rotation menus. That is the only saving grace with these changes and I might be doing this for the first time on our next cruise.

If there is a will there is a way, my next question would be how will I know what the other places be serving on the other menus, for instance I am in Animators and not feeling the menu, then how will I know whats at the other restaurants, will the other menus be printed else where should I just stop by the restaurant before that evening and check out the menu? I know on the other cruises I have been on, the menu is always outside of the dinning room.Or will I be able to eat at the Beach Blanket and get what I want from either dinnnig room, any info would be great!

The menus are posted outside each dining room for dinner in the afternoon. Just have a look at them before you head to your rotational restaurant.

Also, since they are posted here for you to review before your cruise, you will be able to know ahead of time and have an entree selected to make things easier for your server.

Well I also see that the wings are gone from Parrot Cay I really wanted to try them but someone said you can get wings from diversions I wonder if that is adults only?at least the wings were changed out for another chicken appy, I guess the night at Animators I will order from Parrot Cay!Thanks Guys for sharing all your wisdom.

They've been gone from quite some time. Last year on the WBPC I bemoaned the fact, and the next night my server had THREE servings of them on our table. So they apparently had all the fixins on hand to make them.

& Matt did that for us too... he mentioned Mozzarella sticks and the next night EVERYONE at our table had a plate each of them...

Well, if it is an animal I would see at a petting zoo or in a Disney movie, I generally steer clear.

Like, a baby sheep...........blech, I cannot even imagine. Or a bunny rabbit?

And echoing the above poster's sentiments, it would break my heart if they do not have creme brulee.

Thanks for that link Lisa, nice to see that things are looking up. I'm sure many people have complained to DCL and/or on their comment cards, and I hope they are listening....

It's nice to hear that the plain meat is available and that the server (at least the poster's) was more than happy to make it the best meal as possible for them!

Hi all,

We sailed on the May 30 Western Magic and I asked our server about when the new menus are going to be introduced. Our server's name was Joyce and she said that they aren't going to start for 4 weeks. She said they are still becoming familiar with the menus and sampling all the items. I mentioned that many people here on the boards are upset with the change in menu and she said oh no they shouldn't be--the change is going to be wonderful. According to her they are keeping the best and favorite dishes and adding some wonderful new dishes that are sure to please.

Not sure if this helps put any of your minds at ease, but thought I'd share since there has been a lot of talk about the new menus and the dates they will begin.

Hope your cruise is as magical as ours. We also dined in Palo and all I can say is -- Don't miss Palo! It was absolutely wonderful and our server Cecilia was amazing.

One of the head servers/managers told several people last week that the new menus would be onboard on the June 20 cruise on the Magic. Apparently they have been changing them over the past few months bit by bit.

Main thing I hope they keep is peanut butter pie. Never had it yet but really want it! Heard they won't though. Let me know if anyone knows if it will still be available on Magic.

Sorry but that was one of the casualties of the new menus on the Wonder. Those rotation menus will be the same on the Magic other than Triton's being titles Lumiere's.

I was on the June 28 4 Day Wonder and I thought the food was fine. I had some things that I would recommend and some things that I would not. Although, it probably has more to do with personal taste. If you have any specific questions, I will try to answer them.

I looked at the Magic's new menus and noticed they no longer had the cherries jubilee. Can anyone who's just been on the Magic verify that this is correct? It's one of our favorites, especially my dad's. It was on the Captain's Gala menu.
