New Menu at WGP? No Crab Cakes? No Steak?

No crab cakes + no steak + no fondue = No ADR for us. :sad2:

We might have to make a change, too. The fondue was gone before our last visit, but with the absence of the crab cakes and the steak, it hardly seems worth going to WPC. My DS was so looking forward to being able to order from the adult menu, too ... but he wanted the steak!

Since I'm keeping our ADR, what does everyone recommend that is still on the menu? The Truffle-Maytag Blue Kettle Chips sound good, and both my mom and I like blue cheese, (we're going to share all of our appetizers, entrees, and desserts for the most part, so we're going to have to agree on two for each meal.) I know my mom said the spinach salad sounds good. And I know that we're going to get sushi as one of our entrees, but I have no idea what we'll get for our other one know, any recommendations? Most of the desserts still sound good though. ;)

If we keep it, which I doubt, our entree choices would be the Macadamia Chicken, Asian Ribs and Whole Roast Chicken.

Just cancelled WGP on Sept 15th at 6:30PM for a party of 4. DH wants Steak...a kind DISer gave me an ADR for Concourse Steakhouse the same night....now if they take Steak off the menu at the STEAKhouse...we're in big trouble.

As I mentioned on another thread, I had a TERRIBLE dream the other night! :scared1: We booked several "top" dining spots and this is the adult menu we were given at all of them:

Frozen Cokes

Chicken Fingers

Twinkies

:scared1:

Marie; just give it a try, just for the hack of it.

I read this topic and like enough of you on here thought "well, that s*cks too much, I'll cancell". I can do without the steak, but the crabcake and the chocolate fondue? Darned! That chocolate had me drooling in my sleep allready, I wanted that one bad. :sad1:

I had a list ready of all kinds of other options, worried about everything being booked solid as I'm leaving in 15 days (still 16 in your timezone ;) ) and it's during free dining. Much to my surprise, the first option I mentioned was bingo. I could even still pick dates and times for Kona. Who knows, you might also still be able to get another ADR that appeals to you.

OMG, if you only knew how many times I have changed ADR's in the last 6 months you would die!!!!:rotfl: I just had to change Teppanyaki. If worse comes to worse, I will try to change while I am there, or just do CS for dinner that night. I have several more TS planned than I have credits for anyway (Artist Point, Chef Mickey Breakfast, WCC Breakfast & lunch on top of TS dinner each day:yay: ), so it's not like I need to use a TS that night.
