New member...first reservation booked!

Woohoo!! Booked my first home resort reservation today for 3 night trip beginning of Dec this year. Just purchased our membership last day of our Aug/Sept trip to AKL a couple weeks ago. We loved AKL and it's now our home resort! It's me and DS17 on this visit. I was able to get a Studio at Jambo with a savannah view....ok with me! We will be doing a college campus tour for a few hours one day and then our plan is to experience Mickey's Xmas party and the Osbourne Lights.....we've never seen either!

Congratulations! We love our Kidani "home". MVMCP and the Osborne lights are both great events. You should look into the Epcot Candlelight Processional as well.

Welcome Home!! You'll love it!! All the DVC resorts are great and one of the best times to be there is around the Christmas Holidays! Good luck on the college visit too!!

I've been thinking about it for some time now. I had ordered the DVC dvd last year and my husband thought I was nuts! Wellllllll....during this trip he loved AKL so much that he suggested several times we talk to the DVC people. So we did and DH did say that we should have done this a long time ago....

Thank you. I definitely want to take in all the holiday events. Since this is a quick trip, I'm saving some for next December when my husband and younger son will be with me. DS17 may miss out assuming he is in college.....seems strange to even talk about a Disney vacation without both of my sons.

congrats. You will love disney at christmas time. We went in novembe 2009 and got to see all the decorations. The lights and snow at hollywood studios is beautiful.
