New McKim's Mile House and ImaginAtrium Member Lounge >> NOW OPEN! 3/18/25 <<

International visitors (like me) actually won't be able to enter the lounge. To be called back you need to give an US mobile number or wait around, which is not reasonable to do for 3 hours. And remember, international visitors cannot buy MMB. The only option is to buy a local SIM for the stay, which is an additional expense.

Couldn't you use google voice? Make a Google account while in Florida and get a google voice number, and then provide that number to the cast member? Likewise when checking in for table service dining they ask for a phone number.

Is there a reason why someone would willingly wait to get into the lounge? It just doesn't sound like it's worth the wait. I visited the one in DL once, because it was new and I wanted to see it. I've never had a reason to return. Is it that hard to get out of the weather at Magic Kingdom Park? Are cheap junk chips and a soda worth waiting for? Is there nowhere else to sit in that park?
My limits for waiting to get into the lounges is about 20 minutes. If I'm told it's 35-50 minutes, I usually just pass. BUT - wanting to at least see the new MK lounge at least once, I'm willing to take a longer wait time - I might actually prefer hearing that it's 1 or 2 hours - then I could 'check in', get the wait time, and then head off to hit a ride or some stores or just walk around and enjoy for a bit, circling back when I'm close to my wait window. I don't mind sitting around 20 minutes or so to get in. As long as the wait time they give you is solid enough to rely on, where you don't have to stay there waiting on site, it's fine for me.

After checking off this lounge and getting to see it, it will become like the Epcot lounge - I'll go back and use it if the wait times are 20 minutes or less, and skip it if any longer.

I'll decide how tolerable it is in about 10 days, when I'm next in MK.
