Time is going by so fast....Our cruise is going to be here before we know it!!!!!
Already started collecting things for FE gifts to see what will work. So exciting!!

i am trying to wait until i know how many people are signed up, almost bought something the other day, and put it back, i wasnt sure if i had to get 10, 20, or 30 ya know? I will probably make something for adults, and buy something for kids....it is exciting!

we should make a cruise logo to put on things /shirts etc...i have been messing with some, i will post when i get a chance....anybody else want to design a cruise logo? we wore shirts with our last cruise logo on deparkment,(store bought tess with iron on transfers) that was fun (which is usually the day the disers meet for the first time also) anybody have any suggestions? i know we have a lot of first timers on our cruise I think its pretty standard for disers to have a meet around 3pm on the first day just because life boat drill is at 4 and then the rest of the day goes by fast. also that way you get to meet on the first day so you can say hi the rest of the trip. i will have to adjust to a 7 night cruise, last one was 4 and the time went by so fast!

I thought about waiting to see how many more people join the FE but wanted to do a couple of trial runs on some things to see how they turn out. Plus I know I will be able to get/make more of whatever I am doing. And if I can spread out the spending that will help as well.

I think it would be a great idea to do a cruise logo for our disgroup. I have been designing magnets and I do scrapbooking/card making, but not sure how I would do with a cruise logo. I would love to see what you have been playing with and can play around with some designs as well.

And I agree with the group meet around 3pm or so. I would love to meet the other people in our group and 3pm sounds like a good time.

Looking at jordaks designs on the magnet thread...here are a couple i love! let me know if you guys want one of them for our cruise logo and jordak will customize with our cruise date and info. or if anyone finds another they like please post it...i would love for us to get a official logo, so i can start my fe

Those were my two favorites as well!!! I thought the first one would look great on a shirt, and I might use the other for pirate night...maybe I will ask for both and people can use both.

thought i should mention i have made lots of iron on tees etc over the years....and the best transfers by far are sold by a fellow diser! I have washed some of them 20 plus times and they look better than some i bought at joanne and washed once. check out amymickey.com

amys transfers are dark transfers so the white will show up solid white... i think cream or black tees would look great but any color would work. bought a new swimsuit today, they are on clearance everywhere yeah!

I would love to use it.... oops just noticed it says 2011, not 2012..i have done this several times on things! this is definately in the running for "offical" cruise logo, do you have any others you want to share that we should consider?

I bought a new swim suit last year and really like it. I went to look a couple of weeks ago but did not have any I would like. I guess I looked too late for where I am at. But I have found a few fun summer dresses/skirts and a formal dress and semi formal dress.

keurigirl- the more i look at your design the more i love it...i love the old school feeling to it , it looks very classic and the fact the mickeys are on a ship deck and the cm name tag on it you did a great job!

for a group cruise logo we just need a great universal design that will print easy on shirts or fe gifts or even lanyard badge, that includes the cruise date and everyone loves. If you have any more to post thats great, if not i think we have some great ones to choose from already. thanks! what are your thoughts?

I did not know that a new muppet movie was coming out. I guess I have been out of the loop on that one. We don't watch a lot of TV during the summer so haven't seen any advertisements for the movie. It's all about Netflix during the summer, then our regular shows during the regular season

Hello everyone,

We are booked on this sailing as well. There will be me (33), DH (29) and DD (5 but will turn 6 on the cruise). This will be our first cruise on Disney, but we have sailed on other lines before. We're from East Coast Canada. I'm intrigued by "ENGTEACH", you said your daughter doesn't speak much English, does she speak French? The reason i'm asking is because we're French Canadians, and my daughter too doesn't speak much English.

Anyhow, from all the cruises i've took, this is actually the first time i join a roll call.

I can't wait for March to get here. However, i also can't wait for Christmas to get here, since we're surprising our daughter with the cruise.

Welcome Luckycruising. It's exciting getting new people joining this cruise. This is not only my (and my DH) first Disney cruise, it will be our first cruise ever. I am also super excited and can't wait for March to get here. December will be exciting too because that will be the "paid in full" month. Since I am saving for the cruise our families will be getting home-made gifts from us for Christmas, so I have lots to do before December.
