Since we have decided not to do the dolphin experience in Cozumel I need to figure out something else. What all does Nochi Cocum include? I could just lay on a beach all day, read a book, enjoy the water and sun, but my DH would get too bored. I want to find something that we both would enjoy. The rays, reef and rum point at GC looks fun. The pictures you posted Jessica were amazing!!!

And don't forget to sign up on the tab for FE if you want to do the FE. I missed that tab and the excersion tab the first time I signed up on the roll call. I can't wait, I have already had so much fun thinking of ideas for FE gifts!!!! And I have been playing around on my computer making designs for door magnets. Since this is my first cruise EVER, let alone a Disney Cruise, I am about to jump out of my skin with excitment!!!

Nachi Cocom details as I have read about (havent been there). You get off the ship and then take a cab to it, open from 9-5pm. Cab fare is set by cozumel so they cant swindle you, but you can share a cab I think it is about 15 per couple. They only take 100 people per day. It is a beach club with a pool, hottub, beach, and restaurant. You get there and they show you to your own chair and umbrella. When you want luch you head to restaurant and order 3 coursed meal. You also have waiter from your beach chair who comes around and you get unlimited drinks, whatever you would like. They offer excursions for extra money, bannana boat rides, snorkeling, jet ski's, massages on beach price list on their website. The price is $55 per adult. When we dock in cozumel so are 16,000 other cruise ship passengers that day, so this sounded great and uncrowded. Check out their reviews on trip advisor, along with pictures or their website is cozumelnachicocom.net that website also have exursion prices. oh you put down a $14 pp deposit through paypal and then pay the balance in cash when you get their.. nonrefundable deposit if you cancel. If you have read any western trip reports it comes highly recomended.... read nenner1 trip report it is awesome under trip report forum search video killed the trip report star! they went last october, lots of disers on that cruise, they booked nachi out themselves! she uses lots of pictures (sorry cant post link from my computer )

the pictures I posted are a fellow diser's and he totally sold me on stopping by rum point! I cant wait to swim with the rays as well! I hope some more people come along!


aberrydisneygirl: have you seen the homemade fe gifts thread on the cruise forum? it is awesome! very inspirational....i made my own gifts last time, dont know yet what i will do this time. I have my own fused glass business so i gotta come up with something good!

I booked our excursions for Grand Cayman today. We decided to go with Nativeway also but we opted for the Stingray and Island tour. I still don't know what we will do in Cozumel. I wonder how easy taking a cab to one of the beaches is??? Or do they have buses/vans??? We don't want to spend too much for this port.

I have to share this with my disboard friends! I am a little geeked out right now! I just met Ed Asner...who is the voice of my favorite disney character ever... Carl Fredrickson! I work at a very nice hotel/restaurant (St. Paul Hotel if you ever need a room in st. paul let me know, we are a historic hotel, nationally ranked 5 diamond) and I have met lots of celebrities over the past 11 years, but this is in my top 5 now for sure when he spoke all i could think of was carl

i should probably share with everyone (especially if you wonder why i am always on the computer I am a maitre de at the hotels restaurant so i sit infront of the internet all day as i take reservation and check in guests.... I work 13 hour days 3 days a week, so I get plenty of disboard time

glad to see you booked with nativeway, all their tours look great. I would love to go to the turtle farm as well, love turtles, sounds like fun!

I have looked at every page for the homemade FE gifts. Some good ideas. I have some ideas that I am going to play around with and see what works.

I will have to do some research on different port excersions. So many things sound fun it's hard to choose. And this being my first cruise I want to do everything, but know I can't.

I also work on a computer all day, but can only get on disboards at lunch, as the rest of the day I am working on court work (work at a court house). But when I come home I am on the computer again reading about everyones DCL adventures and figuring out FE, FE gifts, door magnets, doing scrapbooking or other crafty stuff.

Well, I bought a mini sewing machine today so I think I will try my first attempt at making an FE. I got enough fabric to make a few of them so then I can choose what one I like the best. Should be fun!! Wish me luck!!

Thanks, I actually don't know how to sew, but I am going to try to teach myself. We will see how that goes. I like to think I am pretty crafty otherwise.

There is a couple of good threads on the board of things people give/make as gifts, or liked/didn't like getting. I have some ideas of things I'm going to make, then maybe buy a few, but I'm still trying to decide.

I was also going to ask everyone if there is a certain kind of candy/treat that they can not get in their state/country that they might like to have.

Startd an FE but mini sewing machine was not doing what I needed and kept messing up. So I will need to return it and get a better/bigger one. So FE put on hold.

You all have been busy!!! We just returned from a week at Disneyland in CA, and I've been planning for that trip so I've not had time to keep up with the Cruise planning.

We're also going to Hawaii in January, so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff I have to book, lol. How's that for spoiled brat complaining??!! My daughter starts school next year so we're trying to do some extra stuff because we know once she's in school our travel schedule will be much tighter.

I'm an avid sewer (uh, that doesn't look right, what I'm trying to say is that I sew a lot!) so if you guys have questions just let me know
