Hi! My family and I are looking forward to joining everyone on this cruise. We signed up for the FE, but we do not yet have a room number. Please let me know if there is anything I missed.

I posted a question on the general DCL forum and asked where people on the Magic have held their DIS meets and immediately 4 people answered back and all said the Promenade lounge was the best spot. They said it's quiet, with plenty of seating, and you can have a drink if you choose.

So how does 3:00 PM on Saturday in the Promenade lounge sound for everyone?

3 p.m. Saturday March 3 Promenade Lounge DISMEET!

I signed us up for FE. Now I just need to peruse some threads and get ideas!!! I have no idea what I want to do! Part of me wants to do something Disney, and the other part something regional from where we live. I am also semi-crafty...I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Is anyone doing Disney World parks before or after the cruise??

Excited to see some other kids the same ages as mine! And lots of us going to Nachi Cocum!

We are doing five days in the parks after the cruise...yet another surprise for our little man. Staying at the pop so it is affordable.

I am so excited to see our fish extender group growing!! We are doing something Disney and kind of regional. In California there is just too much to choose from

We went to Disneyland today and got to eat at Club 33. Walt's private members only club. We are not members, but my hubby got us invites and it was so cool!!! We got to go through a secretive door where you ring a bell and a hostess comes out to greet you and asks your name, you are only admitted if it is on her list and then up you go to some scrumptious dining and a lot of original artwork. Our two kiddos enjoyed it, especially the dessert bar

We can't wait for the cruise! I am also anxiously awaiting some of the stuff I ordered for us to make some of the FE gifts. I am going with some basic store bought stuff and an easy craft that the kids can help with.

I also bought shirts and transfers to make the two cruise shirts. The one for Pirate night and one for the first day...if anyone cares to join in

I have already been working on our magnets.....is there anything I am forgetting?

I'm working on FE stuff too, though I might scale down to 2-3 times per week instead of every day.

My sewing machine has been furiously going for months, now, as I'm a big custom Disney sewing gal. I love sewing custom stuff for my kids! I'm also doing some sewing for the FE stuff.

We're going to Disneyworld for 10 days post-cruise. Wahoo!

We're going to Disneyworld for two days before and two days after the cruise. We're staying in the new Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans before and in the Pirate Rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort after.

You guys are so lucky!!! I wanted to stay for a few days after to go to WDW and Epcot, but my hubby needs to get back to work and taking the little ones by myself isn't as fun. It eliminates the roller coasters because they both need an adult to ride with them and my kids LOOOOVE the coasters Maybe next time I am hoping this cruise lives up to my excitement, if so we have found a new cruise line. We have always gone on NCL and love to cruise, let's put it this way- my five year old has already been on 8 or 9 cruises.

I am trying to decide between Native Way's- Rays, Reef and Rum Point or Captain Marvin's- Stingray Beach Lunch in the Caymans. Any ideas- they both get great reviews from Trip Advisor. I know several people on here are using Native Way's, but the draw to Captain Marvin's for me is that they have the same tours, but there is no charge for my 3 year old...

Sweet Native Way is not charging for my 3 year old and only 35 for my 5 year old!! I am now booked on their Rays, Reef and Rum Point!

I am very jealous over everyone getting park days before and after the cruise. I am insanely jealous of yucaipagal for getting into Club 33.
We actually got to go into the small lobby and see the cage elevator when we did a backstage tour called "Walking in Walt's footsteps" several years ago but that was as close as I ever got.

Since this was a big time budget trip for us we didn't add on any park days. I used all my current DVC points to book the cruise so I didn't really have any left. However I just called DVC yesterday and booked a 10 day trip at the Beach Club villas for this coming Dec. We are taking our friends who's daughter will be turning 8 and our niece who will be turning 7 and it's going to be a surprise for both of them. I can't wait! It will make it easier to be driving past Disney and not stopping on the way to Port Canaveral.

We are doing one day at Universal before the cruise. I really want to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And I actually have never been to Disneyworld. I used to live in California so I have been to Disneyland quite a few times. I figures Disneyworld would have to be another trip.

I am also very, very jealous of everyone going to DW before and after the cruise. We made our flight home later on Saturday so we can stop at Downtown Disney and at least get a taste of it to hold me over until we plan our next trip down.

We are also going to Downtown Disney on Saturday before catching the plane home. We want to eat at T-Rex as it was not open the last time we were in DD.

Ooh, you'll love Harry Potter if you're a fan!! The whole place is like visiting the book. It's awesome. Just make sure you get there at rope drop and beat feet to Ollivander's wand shop, and then to the flight of the hippogriff, and THEN to the school for the main Harry ride. The shops are tiny and the line for Ollivander's can be really long if you want to go in and see the show.

I don't have an Etsy of my own, sorry ladies! I sew exclusively for my own kids. I fear if I did more it would become work and I wouldn't enjoy it nearly as much. However I have lots of friends in the "biz" so if you need recs let me know.
