It's not going to be open until Memorial Day weekend.
I will report back. I'm going with a group so there should be a few viewpoints that I can relay. Will you please report back when you've done it? Maybe (hopefully) there is something that the rest of are just missing about it now.
Disneyland Park has just released information on a new lounge area called the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge Experience which opens May 26th!

Yeah I don't get it. If it had solid firework views, not just "glimpses" I could maybe see reserving it for Grandma and Grandpa to let them rest and have indoor seats while the family is pushing hard till closing.
But this is just nuts, it's not just a poor value it's a ....why would you WANT to even if it was $10 or free?!! You are in Disneyland so...you play $45 to get glimpses of fireworks when you can get a full vantage for free?
The WOC dessert party has seats, treats and superior views to a show, that I get.
If WOC is cancelled dessert party guests get a refund, correct? So you for sure get a show?

Thank you! We always do. We tend to be an optimistic bunch that has fun in some way.Looking forward to your review. I hope your vacation is splendid!

From the picture on this page it looks like the space mountain queue deck
Yes, the photo linked above and in the blog are definitely not the Space Mountain queue deck. The angle toward the Matterhorn isn't right. Looks like second story of Innoventions to me (both the view in the photo and the seating area).Speculation I have heard is second story balcony of the Innovention building...but nothing confirmed.
In the new pics the "snack" box looks tiny, like lunchable size, and the description of a couple of the items sounds like a ding dong and a twinkie. I can't wait to hear some reviews on this because at this point it doesn't sound even remotely worth the price.
The Mickey interaction sounds great. But if it's going to be a regular part of the event, I feel like they would be promoting that. And they aren't.We did the lounge on Saturday night. My group is adults in our 30s (4 of us), my 14 year old son and nearly 3 year old nephew. We had a great time. While I think the theme of the snack box is cute, I would say I liked about 50% of the items. We all had different favorites. The chef walked around towards the end and asked us how we liked the food and he seemed to appreciate our input. There were games, bubble blowers and lightsabers that the kids played with. There was a Disney photographer that stopped by several times to take pictures. Best of all, Mickey stopped by and visited. We have done character meals and meet and greets and this was the best interaction we have had. Mickey stayed with each group for a long time. He played with Jenga blocks with my nephew, building things. The group next to us had a checker board and he stopped and played a game with the little girl in the group. It was a nice get away and the staff were very attentive.
plus they know how often fireworks get cancelled at DLR, so needed to downplay the fireworks angle. That's how you get this awkward offering that includes "possible glimpses" of fireworks.
(well, apart from the fast and quiet part of drug commercials...)
