New location for parade FP viewing?

Hello!

I was looking at my FastPass reservations and noticed my viewing for the festival of fantasy parade is listed as a town square viewing area, not the regular castle viewing area. Is this a new change or just a fluke? My viewing for the Christmas parade was in front of the castle, as has always been the viewing for the electrical parade when I have done that.

Very curious as I like having the castle in the background and that area is more convenient to get to. Has anyone gone recently that can tell me how this was?

I read that the FP area is moving to Town Square due to the continuing Hub construction. It's a temporary move.

This is correct, looks like it will be 2 months, Jan 11- Mar 12.

So will the area where it normally is be closed down? Does that mean there is no wishes FP available and I should stop looking for it?

as an edit: I totally should have said electrical parade, but no big deal as my post caffeine logic made me realize that would just be in the new location as well. Oops. Ignore me. lol

There is no FP+ for parades at the hub because of construction from Jan 11- Mar 12.

What date are you looking for Wishes? The FP+ for Wishes has not been made available yet past Feb 27 due to construction. Any day before Feb 27, the FPs have mostly all been taken by now.

Jan 15. Been looking for a cancellation. I read elsewhere that the rose garden is still open though so I will continue looking. Got an A&E the other day at least.

I guess it could change but I believe the Hub reconstruction also includes the walkways that lead beyond the Hub so that area may not yet be completed by May.

I have FPs for FoF and MSEP for mid-April for Town Square. I do like watching the parade when it is coming directly towards you with the Castle in the background. I'm hoping the Crane is gone by that time.

I have FP for MSEP later in March and they are in town square- I figured it would make exiting the park easier after the parade ends so I was pretty happy.

We had FP for MSEP at the start of last week (end of February). We were right on the corner facing the Train Station with Town Square Theater to our left. It definitely made for a quick exit (we watched the fireworks another night) and we were able to watch the floats from the time they entered the square by the Firehouse all the way to when they headed up Main Street USA. A different perspective for those used to the Hub, certainly, but not a bad spot at all.
