New Le Cellier Menu Pics 4/5/08

I am glad the mussels are still there.....I loved this dish when we were there last Christmas. On our next visit I am hoping to try the Duck Two Ways ......I love duck and am very eager to try this one.

The mussels are still there but they changed the sauce, doesn't sound nearly as good as the old one with the potatoes and bacon.

So now the mushroom filet is on the lunch menu! So if you can't get in for dinner, but really love that filet, you can have it for lunch. Mmmmmmm.

That being said, quite a price difference between the lunch and dinner mush.filet. I wish they'd put the ounces on there. But with the way they cut back so often, I guess the cost of changing menus all the time would be too cost prohibitive. Seems they could save money by just making the whole thing a dry erase board.

I'm still goin' in June, but yet another reason why I am glad we are doing the Dining Plan. that's quite a jump in the price of the filet/NY Strip.

I wonder if they will have any of the mashed potatoes for lunch? Dd will not eat the rice that comes with the filet (its a texture thing) maybe I can call and have them see if they can make it for her since I have she is allergic to gluten. I just showed her the new menu and she said she would just drink pop.

Well I'm excited! The Mushroom Risotto and fillet that I love for dinner is now on the lunch menu. According to Deb's site, it wasn't before.

Glad to see the Creme brulee is back!

I would be shocked if they don't accommodate your request. Particularly if you call ahead and let them know of a food allergy. Please let us know--because if you hit trouble with this request, it will be a very bad sign that they have changed their customer service policy.

that I could order the Duck Appy for my entree? Had the Confit last year and LOVED IT!!!! Add a side of cream cheese mashed potatoes and I'm in heaven!!!

Wow, I'm reading lots of sad people about the Chocolate Moose, and here's an update on that. I'm hoping this will bring some smiles

I was there a couple days ago and it was on the dessert menu! I got it and it was sooo good. It was also really cute. Took a couple pictures of it, and this was the best one I got.......

Haha I really spazzed out lol.Sorry bout that everybody...I didn't read everything at first lol.As I was freaking out my fiance was like,I'm sure you can still get the cream cheese mashed potatoes just look. I'm all good now...I wonder if I can get the filet mignon and insted of the rissoto get the cream cheese mashed taters.

Drats! I really wanted to try the smores dessert. I've seen so many pictures of it and it looked yummy! I couldn't wait to try Le Cellier for our December trip to the world. Now, I'm not so sure.

I am so bummed! I for one don't like mushrooms at all! Yuck! I'm sure that some people do like them. But to have to itmes on the menu with mushrooms that can't be removed. And I like potatoes with my filet, not fancy risoto. Ugh, it just makes me mad. And I know a few people who are allergic to mushrooms. I guess I'll ask if they can just give me the filet with another potato, if they have any.

I called today and told them about dd's allergies (dh forgot when he made ressies), I talked to the cs and was talking about the new menu and she said a lot of people were calling and canceling their ressies for there. She said a lot of people are mad and took it out on her. I said I was going to cancel my two to, but I was hoping w/ dd's allergies they could make her the mashed potatoes again this time (we are going for lunch and not on the menu). She says they may, but the new chef might not do it. I told her she can't have really anything else on the menu for the side dish. Who knows I hope our trip doesn't suck.

Oh no! I'm allergic to Mushrooms and was really hoping I'd get to try the Filet Mignon with the Cream Cheese Potatoes. Does anyone know if you can order the Mushroom Filet without the Mushroom sauce and substitute the Risotto for the Potatoes? If not, I don't know what I'll order and I was really excited about this place.
