counting down the days until our next trip...

We are planning our 2nd family trip to Disney and decided to do a pre-trip. While I will be writing most of it, my DH will pipe in quite a bit. In fact he is here editing me right now!
Cast of characters:
Me-37 and a former teacher and now SAHM. I also sell crafting and scrapbooking supplies on the side (which equals out to TONS of pics taken!)
DH-37 and a guy who does geeky stuff at work and then comes home and geeks out a bit more on Guitar Hero and the Orioles. He is also a beer home brewer and after passing a rigorous test (that involves more than a lot of beer drinking) an Official Beer Judge.
DS7 when we go-he will turn 7 a week before the trip and we have decided to call this his b-day trip although he is possibly the most reluctant Disney traveler ever. In fact he kept telling us that he did not even want to go to Disney again until we told him we made the reservations without him and he could stay with friends; then his tune changed and now he seems more excited.

DD 20months when we go-she will probably be called Sassy on this trip because that is totally how she is! She is leery of characters right now, so we are interested in seeing how she does when faced with some of the big characters in WDW. She likes the princesses (or pretties as she says right now) and for some reason seems quite excited about Donald Duck!
(she also loves her big bro!)
We went 2 years ago and my mom went with us. For a myriad of reasons this time it will be just us-a trip we are quite excited about! We went 2 years ago in September as well, but paid for the meal plan. This time we were more savvy and got it for free so we will be including lots of food reviews as well as chronicling the rides and attractions that we get to experience.
Last time we stayed at POFQ and after some searching we decided to stay there again. We liked the resort a lot, our son loved the slide, and we found it to be small enough to move around easily to the food court, pool, and bus station. We also took advantage of the boat to DTD and that is on our agenda for our 1st day there.
We look forward to your comments as we continue our pre-trip-especially if you have any good advice about dealing with our Sassy girl as we get ready to meet the mouse once again!
