That sounds great, I hope you have a wonderful and safe trip! I flew out of Stewart in the 90's to Germany with my Army unit, nice airport! But I'll never fly USAir again. This time, I picked JetBlue; JetBlue's reservations people were so helpful and saved me a bundle. I originally booked them online for an 0800am flight out of Stewart on 6/28 for our Disney vacation. Only $99 one way and $119 returning. Several days later I found out about a Space Shuttle launch scheduled (STS118) for the same time we were to land at MCO. I didn't want to miss this for anything, so we decided that we would book the Holiday Inn Titusville/Kennedy Space Center for a day earlier on 6/27. I then learned it would cost a $30 flight cancelation/rescheduling per person fee (myself, my three girls and a baby) plus any difference in the flight price, that would have meant about $400 more which defeated the low cost of the flights. I called JetBlue reservations, the woman was so helpful and sincerely felt my disappointment in the costs involved. During our conversation, I asked about JetBlue beginning a new hub out of White Plains (35 mins. from home, instead of Stewart 1.3 hours away), she recalculated the difference, when she told me the cost to change my flight, I almost fell off my chair, but in a good way, she said it would only be a total of $58 more round trip for all of us, so instead of paying the $119 p/p charge for our return flight MCO/SWF, Westchester was only $99, so all the fee's were basically a wash and andy charge minimal. Before we spoke, I was so disappointed that we might miss the Shuttle, but she made my day. Then I found out JetBlue is removing the first row seats for added room, YEEEHAHHH, we got the bulkhead seats on both flights. I have to say, I am so delighted, as long as things go well with check in and our flights, I will be using JetBlue from now on. Originally, we would have booked Southwest, but they are not taking reservations past May 10th, even as of today, its the same. So, all I can say is Southwest lost a sale and probably a customer, my brother has been waiting for new flights with SW to go on sale, he too is now thinking of JetBlue now, another lost sale for SW. He likes to fly out of Bradley Int. in Hartford, CT., but JetBlue is not there, and he hates JFK, Laguardia and Newark, me too! Too crowded, both in the terminals and in the airspace. I love Bradley, thats were I usually fly from and SW would have been my choice. I can see a problem coming for passengers waiting for SW to go on sale after 5/10/07, there's gonna be a mad rush for seats and they'll be overbooking. In case anyone is interested, another shuttle (STS117) is also scheduled for March '07 as well, and there are several rocket launches throughout the year. I signed up for NASA email notification when tickets become available for the June launch, they are on sale now for March, but they're sold out of their premium viewing tickets. We want to have lunch with an astronaut, how exciting!

I'm currious to know if our motel in Titusville is any closer than the NASA viewing area at 6 miles away from the launch pad, I think I'll do a Google Earth search and find out, this way, we can watch the launch from our riverview room which should have a direct view of the launch pads and avoid the thousands of cars and crowds. Now, we'll pray for premium weather conditions and for a safe trip!

Pray for all those affected by the Central Florida tornados Feb. 02
