New iPod Nanos

I think that they are really cute. Today I had fully charged my ipod mini and when I got in the car and turned it on I couldn't make it through 1 song with out it loseing power. I say it is time for a new ipod!

They look like mini's, but flat and smaller.
Honestly, I wouldn't pay money for one of those. I find the controls on them very confusing and I've heard that they scratch easily.
I have a Zen Microphoto that allows you to have a background on it, and everything is easy to use with simple controls. It's a 4GB and cost about the same as the 4GB Nano, but I don't think it's worth the hassle to use Itunes and stuff. Zen makes life easy. But the thing is, I paid for mine in Canadian dollars, so in reality, I would be paying more for a Nano here. I don't like Ipods, it's just my opinion.

Good points. I personally prefer iPods because i have 3000+ songs on iTunes with my Mac. Not very compatible with others. I was considering a mp3 player. I liked the Sansa.

Oooh. Sansa.
They have really good prices over here on those.
Only like 70-90$ Canadian for a 1GB, which isn't bad when they want 149.99 for a 1GB for those Ipod Shuffles (I know someone who has a shuffle, and their's is crappy, and Itunes isn't compatible with her PC anymore so she can't listen to music or upload it. And she doesn't have Windows Media Player, so she can't listen to her music on the PC)

I saw the promo for them. I want a new ipod, but my mini is still working fine and it can hold more songs than the nanos...I guess I'll see what happens..

Once I get a job, which is soon, I think I'll save up and replace my Nano for the new one. Mine only holds 500 songs, so I constantly have to clean it out to add more songs to it. Very annoying. So I'll upgrade and get 4GB, one that holds 1,000 songs.

Well... it's roughly 1000 songs. A little less, actually, cause all the mandatory things (menus, search, games) takes up some space too. Just a little bit of useless info. lol

I'm honestly not jumping on the IPOD bandwagon. There are so many other MP3 players that can hold more songs, better quality, and are a whole lot cheaper. People are just paying for the apple name.

I just want any ipod besides the shuffle. I have one and you can't skip around, hold as many songs or see what's playing

I agree. I've gotta say though, The Apple company is drawing me in to wanting an "Ipod" NOT an mp3.. :confused3

::yes::
same..
i'm a portable cd-player person right now..
eventually i shall get a mp3.. but it more-than-likely won't be apple

It's cute. It looks like my iPod mini...only smaller and flater. But I'll always love my iPod mini until the day it dies <3

mm yeah. you do have to add in the fact that Nano's have games.
my mp3 doesn't have that, but it has a beautiful colored screen (you get to set the colors for it too). basically, with a 4GB the memory generally never runs out unless you're really, really obsessed. (this also depends on how many pictures you put in the thing). i love to build a large music library on my mp3, but I don't see myself running out of space. the average person would never use all that space. & then you've got people like me who never take music out of their mp3's, just add it.

I have an ipod nano and I think they look pretty much the same. The only thing that seems different is that they are colored (you could just buy a colored cover) and they don't run out of power as fast.

I just got a Nano in June, I had a Dell, two, the first one didn't work right, and they replaced it, and then the second one didn't work right either. I love the Nano. I haven't had any problems with it. I like the new Nano, but it's not that different. I liked my Dell, but I like my iPod better. But iPods are MP3 players, just they are made by Apple.

The only thing different with the new Nano is that it has a brighter screen, they introduced an 8gb model, longer battery life, and they are made out of the same stuff the mini was so it doesn't scratch as easily. I have an iPod Photo with 30gb's and love it, I have about 3,300 songs.
