New info on Bounce Back (Future Stay Program)

We checked in to Pop today and called Ext 8844 to see what the current Bounce Back offer was and CM told me that he couldn't offer me anything because I hadn't received a flyer inviting us to a Future Stay program. WHAT!!!!!
Since when do you have to be invited??????????????????
CM said that it's not offered to everyone and I would have to wait and see if I would receive a flyer. We have been on the Bounce Back Free Dining for 6 or 7 years and have never had to have a flyer to book it.
I understand if we missed the FD BB for 2015, we had to change our dates because my father passed away, but we need to be invited????

Perhaps we will start spending our vacation money some where else next year & beyond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have the flyer with the code or has been told something similar went trying to book the BB this year?
 
We were able to book without the invite but when I asked the front desk they said housekeeping was uncharged of leaving the flyers. Maybe leave a note and ask for one?
 
Call again, I bet you get the offer your looking for:). As a rule of thumb for years never take info from a CM as truth.

The offer is in the middle of the Be Our Guest packet that is given to you at check in. We booked one last week.
 

We booked the bounce back in October and we didn't have a flyer. The CM we talked to could not have been nicer. :) Try calling again.
 
Hmmmm...this is making me think back at something I was told just last month when I stayed at the YC.

I didn't have a BB in our room and before calling the 8844 extension, I asked one of the CL CM's about it and she told me that going forward, there would no longer be BB offers in the rooms. At the time I thought that was an odd response but to be honest I didn't put much weight into what she said and decided to call the BB line from my room and booked my BB for next year. Now, I'm starting to wonder if they're going to be making changes to the BB program...I hope not!!

In the meantime, I agree that you should definitely call back and speak to someone else.
 
They have not been leaving BB's in rooms for over a year, at least not the 4 resorts that we have stayed at. Like a PP it is now in the center of the "Be our Guest" guide. The pics were taken over a year ago.

 
This thread made me think back to our recent experience (third week of Oct)...
We got the BOG booklet in the room (and I knew from other visits that the BB info should be in it) but there was no future stay info. :confused3 Unfortunately, I forgot the ext. no always mentioned on the Dis :rolleyes: ......
and when I asked a CM friend, he said there were no more bouncebacks.
In retrospect, I wish I had checked the Dis for that extension because now I am "future-trip-less"! (no countdown right now and not happy about it!) :sad2:
 
I called yesterday and just ask what the current bb offer was and without hesitation the cm gave me the info! I would call back and talk to a different cm. I think you got a dud!
 
We didn't have the flyer in October but called the extension we always have and booked. It wasn't nearly as smooth as previous years, seems either the CM had some issues booking us (asking our names and ages.....like she couldn't see the current reservation) and then it erased it all and she had to start over. It took roughly 30 minutes to book it, but thankfully we got it booked.
 
Just got off the phone and booked my Future Stay for next year, same time. Room discount didn't apply for the last couple of days, but I was happy with it. Didn't need the flyer just said I wanted to "book my bounceback/future stay whatever it's called now". 30% on cabins right now, will call in a couple months about villas (35%) since they are not released yet. But she said I'm locked in to the discount.

Very happy.
 
Just booked my bounce back on 11/23, day of checkout. There was an insert in the BOG guide in the room, but the CM didn't ask me for any codes. He did say I had to be a current guest in order to get the discount and I said "I am sitting in my room right now." I guess I figured they could tell since I called the internal 8844 (not the full number they list in the guide). Got 30% off Garden View at POFQ for 819-8/26/15 for a little over $1000 for the 7 days. Not too shabby.

Funny thing, though - when I called, I couldn't understand the CM and thought there was something wrong with the line. Turns out I was connected with the French language line! He tried to pass me to English but the hold time was terrible so he helped me himself. He spoke perfect English anyway. Very nice to save me the wait!
 
Jut got back and dialed 8844. Told CM I would like to book current BB and was asked my confirmation# for my current stay. Was given 30% off for my Sept. stay. I will be staying in CB with a garden/pool view room. Thank You so much everyone!!!

It doesn't have anything to do with your previous offer. Just dial 8844 from your resort room. Have your current reservation number available and ask for the BB. I keep a memo on my phone with this info. It's very handy.

As mentioned upthread, information may be in the BOG guide in your room. If it's not, though, it may just mean someone took it and it hasn't been replaced.
 
We are checking out of the Boardwalk this morning after a fabulous stay. Yesterday we booked our future stay for the first week of November 2015.

We really like the Boardwalk area, so we wanted YC or BWI. Only rooms at YC that were offered were gardenview and at BWI only waterview or standard view club level were offered, so we booked water view.
