Well, to answer your question, yes, I think it is worth it. Because if I get it I will be spending quality time with my family at the happiest place on earth. And, if I don't get it, I just made oodles of friends who share a common desire to be at the happiest place on earth. Here's to you my LMT.com friends...here's to YOU! :grouphug:
Nicely said.

I'm staying on until 10:00pm MST and that's it, so if anyone else sees me here after that please shoot me and put me out of my misery! LOL! I'm crackin up!!!

I'll take you in the backyard like Old Yeller:sad: Or, as mom used to say, I'll take you "to live on the farm"

Sadly, the one thing that this proves is that I'm so cheap I'll do anything for a deal!

Is sitting in front of the computer for 10-20 hours a day really worth it for a "deal" that may or may not even happen again? I've read several posts that indicate posters neglecting thier children. Sure, they may be getting food, shelter, etc but not the attention they need and deserve. Oh, I know the way this is justified would be the quality family time they will get IF you actually snag one of these "deals".

I just think life is way too short to be sitting in front of the computer waiting on some shady deal that probably won't happen. We have a family member that seemed fine and healthy until about 2 weeks ago when he was diagnosed with cancer and is literally looking at hours left to live now. I would hate to be in that situation and know that I wasted what time I did have with my family staring at the computer and ignoring my family.

Go ahead and flame away...at least I'm giving you something to talk about instead of how often you pee. Good luck to you all!:flower3:
I'm sorry to hear about your family member. But why come here and pick on us. Couldn't your time be better spent with your ill family member instead of telling us how awful we are?

West Coast checking in! I've been on since 8:00am pst this morning - took a two hour break to pick up kids and go to the store. I was so sure I would have missed it!!! I just hope it happens soon!!

i think i read somewhere the clock was in the upper left hand corner.....has anyone ever seen the clock.....and is this true????

The other night (morning really) the Cancun/Cocoa Beach add changed from $86/$110 to $1 after refresshing, a video popped up and then the clock started ticking. I timed out just as I was putting my cc#s in :sad2:

Probably the only thing funnier than us doing this is the people READING about us doing this! That is probably the biggest waste of time EVER! LOL

:confused3

Hmmm...perhaps instead of following this thread you should be spending time with the family member that only has hours to live? :confused3

I was just going to say the same thing. If I've got a family member with just hours left to live, why would I be trolling the Dis??? :confused3
I'm sorry that the poster is having to deal with that. However, it's that very same thing that makes me want to take these vacations with my family. Life is short. I love filling it with time spent with my family. I hardly think these several hours we've spent trying to snag a deal will become deathbed regrets one day??? :confused3

Almost forgot...............I've been at this for 19 hours. I'm fairly certain no one is ready to contact social services due to neglecting my son. He's had 3 good meals, help with homework, played a basketball game and even watches LMT. He'll not be warped for life due to his mother spending alot of a couple days of the computer. Thanks for pointing out the value of family. He'll value his time spent at Disney! :wave2: pixiedust:

Simple answer: figure about 35% of the normal hotel room price, if you do indeed have to pay tax.

I took this years W2 and went to HR Blocks tax calculator, if I added a form 1099 valued at $2000, I got $300 less on my refund than if I did not have it. So that comes out to 15%. Pretty close to most lodging taxes!

Hey, I am sorry to hear your family member is ill.

My child is not being neglected. I let her hit the refresh button while I made dinner. Yes, life is short....my sister died suddenly last week. My DH is right next to me, giving me an accasional back rub. DS is away at school, but I am not neglecting him either. DS 17 is in his room doing homework, should he be on my lap?
