My child is not being neglected. I let her hit the refresh button while I made dinner. Yes, life is short....my sister died suddenly last week. My DH is right next to me, giving me an accasional back rub. DS is away at school, but I am not neglecting him either. DS 17 is in his room doing homework, should he be on my lap?

Your DH is very sweet! I'm jealous. I asked mine to watch chatango for me while I ran upstairs and he thought it would be funny to yell GO! and I about broke my leg running down the stairs.........all for nothing! Then he told me he'd just pay full price for the room, after I remain sleep deprived and neglect my child until Friday.

Most of us are looking at this in the optomistic manner. We do not expect each day to be our last even though it could be. You go on as if you have forever. If we worried about dying tomorrow every day, things would be a lot sadder. We have to look at things as if every day will be filled with joy!

Well, the great ( ) thing for me is mine are teens. They came home from school and left!! One grabbed the car keys and did his thang and the other went across the street to help babysit. They both came in, nuked leftovers (which at supper last night they both "called dibs on") and LEFT again!! Now they are both doing homework! I'm all set!

If anything, I think THEY neglected ME!!
