Mainstream rap doesn't mean anything very often anymore, but there are a lot of rappers who will never get famous simply because they don't really go into the "grills" "bling" and "women" areas.

It's rather sad.
Today's society is just darn right sad.

I'd agree on that. 80's hairmetal was more appropriate though in my opinion. I mean, rappers practically have women stripping untastefully in a disgusting manner, and shoving their barely covered butts in the camera. And a lot of the time with hairmetal, I couldn't tell what they were saying so I don't mind.

The most modern song I like is Illegal. But I do think her voice is really annoying in the song... I just think the song itself its kind of pretty.



But in all honesty.... I don't really listen to whats 'in'



I mean... I still listen to Miss Murder. Is that 'out' now? or what? .... I don't watch or listen to MTV....ever.... so I have no idea what's really going on in the music world.

I do try to keep up though XD

My absoloute favorite song is Lips of an Angel. I love Hinder. Hinder is amazing! How could I forget about that? XD

Well...I don't like "pop" "rap" or "hip-hop"...i think it's all kind of annoying. But I think we're all entitled to our own opinions, right? I mean, I like classic rock and alternative rock!
For instance, I love the Killers! Who here likes the Killers? I love "When You Were Young" and "Bones" along with the rest of "Sam's Town"!
I also love the Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, the Beatles, Twisted Sister, Nirvana, the Kinks, etc. Who here likes any of those fine musicians?

Cool, cool...my favorite would be Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, or When the Levee Breaks! Bones takes a while to get used to, so I understand.

That's funny because I love those two songs too ...just The Show Must Go On makes me a little sad, as it is about Freddy Mercury dying...it is a very well written song though. Under Pressure is very good, too. David Bowie is a favorite of mine, though. But like I said, opinions are good!

I find this VERY offensive. I eat,sleep,live and breathe musicals. I completely despise Gwen for ruining songs like this. Fiddler On the Roof is a good musical, yes its not Les Mis but its not some random off broadway either. It has history. Gwen was cool and all before Rich Girl.. .but now she makes me mad.
