Just wanted to say hi! I just found out about your great website from some mamas on Babycenter.

We leave for our first Disneyland trip *with kids* on Monday. Haven't been there in 12 years so I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and nervous but excited too!

Welcome to the DIS!!!

We love to alternate between Disneyland and WDW. The differences in the rides are a nice contrast...but we usually prefer the Disneyland versions over the MK.

Lets see...the new World of Color at DCA is fantastic! Make sure you get fastpasses early in the day for that (they dispense them near the Grizzly River Rapids ride). The silly symphony swings are open now as well...that should be cool. Otherwise lots of construction at DCA with the new major Little Mermaid ride being built and the new Cars land still under construction.

DLR really does a nice job with the Halloween themeing. For instance the Haunted Mansion gets a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay now (until the end of the year). If you are a huge HM fan that may be a disappointment, but for the most part its pretty popular.
