The Can$ to the US$,,yes its not good for us to travel south right now. But the Disney deals of 25% off tickets and some rooms,,helps a lot

You can see in your chart,,,around 2010-2013 dollar was almost at par,,,,that is when we bought,,but now we need to add at least 30% to the going price...makes it tough to buy a mickey bar

I would consider 2010-2013 to be the aberration and not the baseline. Partly because global views on Canadian bank stability and home prices was so sound at the time.

So, when I look at the chart it looks like the current exchange rate is about median.

The economist felt the CAD was 3% undervalued at the end of June and the USD has floated down a whisker since then.
