first of November and staying at the Fort wilderness Cabin-- WE did book a golf cart, but a little nervous about the traveling to and from different locations- Really would appreciate any and all tips / suggestions- Thanks so much.

Don't know if you saw it, but there is a forum about camping and you will probably get a lot of information off of it!

Welcome!!!!!!

Disney transportation is really very easy. There are bus stops at the CampGround and well marked buses going to all the parks and Downtown Disney. You will also be able to take a boat from the campground to Magic Kingdom. Have a great trip!

Just wanted to say :welcome: as I am new here to! I just discovered it a couple of days ago and NOW i am addictied!!! I love it!!! So helpful!

:cheer2: YAY For Disney!! :cheer2:

Are you concerned about traveling within the Ft. or getting to other parts of the Disney property?

First thing is to relax and enjoy the experiences that the Ft. has to offer. You will soon find out what everyone on this board is talking about.....
Hold on, you're about to get hooked! :cool1:

We stayed in the 700 block and never had to walk very far to a bus stop or the boat dock. The dis transportation was wonderful we were there in jan and never had to wait long for transportation. We left our truck parked the whole week we were there. Plan to do the same in Nov. :cool1:

My biggest tip?

THE MGM BUS STOP IS NOT IN THE FRONT OF THE CAMPGROUND WHERE THE EPCOT AND AK BUS STOP IS.

At the last minute, I saved my SILs' butts with this information and come to think of it, I never did get a thank you. ;) I can't remember the name of the stop, but it's on the beach side of the campground.

You'll love having the golf cart. Just hop on when you are ready to go to a park and head to the bus stop. I don't think we waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a bus or boat over Columbus weekend.
