New here and ?'s about discounts

Hi everyone-

I am planning our 1st "real" Disney vacation with the kids for January. Can anyone let me know how likely it is that Disney will release discounts for this time? I have no idea of their pattern and likihood for discounts.

Depends when in January. Around MLKJ weekend would be less likely I would guess.

There are some websites that track historical trends in discounts at WDW. I think mousesavers.com is one of them.
