Hi! I'm new to the DIS (I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally got a user name) and pretty new to the Disney thing. I went to Disney once in 1989. I am headed back to Disney for the second time EVER this November. My DH is coming too - he has never been to Florida - as are our two princesses, ages 4 (almost 5) and 3. We will be staying at Coronado Springs Resort with free dining. :banana:

I was wondering if you could help out. This is my proposed schedule with dining reservations. Thanks to DIS I found out that I needed to make ADRs in the nick of time - I made them at 90 days out, only a few days after booking my trip. :cheer2: Can you comment on the feasibility of the park plan? Also can you let me know how long it will take (roughly) to get from Coronado Springs to the various parks and restaurants?

11/11 Arrive at MCO at 11:30 AM. :dance3: Check in, head to Epcot/World Showcase. Akershus @ 6:40. Maybe Illuminations?

11/12 Magic Kingdom. Morning Extra Magic Hours. Ohana's @ 5:30

11/13 Epcot. Future World in the AM, whatever in the PM. Tappan Edo @ 4:20

11/14 Hollywood Studios. 50s Prime Time @ 12:05. Evening at Resort or Downtown Disney

11/15 Animal Kingdom. Tusker House @ 8:25 (might cancel - trying to choose between this and Chef Mickey's). Evening at Resort or Downtown Disney

11/16 Magic Kingdom. 1900 Park Fare @ 8:30. Tony's Town Square @ 5:10 (might cancel and have dinner at Resort). See Spectromagic and Wishes. Extra Magic Hours at night.

11/17 Chef Mickeys @ 9:25 (Might cancel, but leaning towards not canceling b/c Minnie is here. But worried about commute from CSR). No park on last day. May do DTD if we haven't done it on a different night. Flight is out of MCO after 6 PM.

Welcome to the Dis!! I think your plans are quite doable. Here is my 2 cents:

* It will be very tricky to do Chef Mickey's on your AK day...a lot of here and thering...I would keep that as is.

* If you do Chef Mickey on 11/17, leave your resort by 8:30 and take a bus to MK...you can easily walk to the Contemporary from there.....I would be sorely tempted to spend a few more dollars each and add another park day to hit the highlights at MK...you will be so close and you don't leave 'til 6!!!!

* Don't miss Spectromagic...it is fabulous!!

Happy planning!

I think your itinerary looks great. It also isn't jammed pack so your girls can have some down time

I have found that my kids are very tired after traveling. We do not do a night show that first night. We do a fun dinner (and your girls will love the princesses at Norway!) and then off to bed. So, I would probably skip Illuminations. I love it, but my kids rank it last for night shows. Plus, you are getting up early the next day. Go to Dumbo first!

I wouldn't cancel Chef Mickey's. It's lots of fun. It is not hard to get to because it is so close to Magic Kingdom.

I've never stayed at Coronado so I can't help you with times.

Have fun!!!

Thanks! I was toying with the idea of tacking in Kona Cafe on our Hollywood Studios day and The Wave for our AK day. Would that be too hard to travel to given that we aren't renting a car?
