New Haunted Mansion Queue

I just got a look at what they've done (here on the DIS) and I have to say that this is exactly what olde time Disney lovers are looking for. It doesn't have to be huge, it doesn't have to cost millions, it doesn't have to be cutting edge ... What it does is have to be is imaginative. Who's responsible for this? He deserves a promotion ... (to Iger's position).

Just put this type of thinking across the board and we'll really be ok.

The Sea Captain seem to be the next huge character to be promoted from the Haunted Mansion. There is soooooo much room for story telling here. A Huanted Portrait of a Siren comes to mind. Ya agree??>>>>>

I love the idea of an Interactive queue and love what they did with Pooh. HM is just ok because it was not needed and it hurts the story.

Not majorly but most of he paranormal stuff us not supposed to happen until the stretching room. You got a hint with Madam Leotas grave and then with the portrait inside. They built this up till the streching room now a lot more happens and IMO upsets the flow.

Again I'm all for Interactive queues but even on the busiest of days when the line went half way to FRTL I have never waited more than 30 minutes for HM. This type of queue should be for rides that constantly have long waits like Pooh, Peter Pan, and Big Thunder Mountain.

It's good to see them spending money I just would have ones to see it spent elsewhere.

In general, there are many Stories of the Haunted Mansion. Haunts from all over the WORLD!!

There is no one story!!!!!

I am sure DISNEY wants it that way. Far less restrictive!

I'm not pissed they did this IMO it wasn't needed and other rides could have used it more than HM.

I went over this afternoon and the new queue was not open. It's very close to opening but it was still gated off. The Casper like ghosts are projected right as you come out of the cemetary scene and the curtain is still covering the hitchhiking area. So...nothing new since the last time I saw it.
