I just received my LC 4 days ago. I have carried it for 2 days when I have gone out to do errands. I noticed today that one corner on the bottom already has a small white flake

Since someone posted that Dooney is issuing refunds for the LC, not repair/replace, I went ahead and touched mine up with a Sharpie. I haven't noticed any further flaking (fingers crossed!).

They told me to send it to them and they will let me know my options once they see it. Only thing is it will cost me more to ship it from the UK, then they will reimburse only up to $13.

I still don't know what I will do. Such a shame, it has really put me off buying any more of their bags. And I have been eyeing them up for over 5 years!

Totally agree with you on this. Normally, with this size of purchase, I'd have returned it in a heartbeat. But, with shipping back and forth and the uncertainty/availability, I'm sitting tight. I really do like the bag otherwise, and the now camouflaged flaking is not noticeable on mine. Sad commentary on the quality of these bags. Good luck with your decision.

Hello everyone! I was always wanting a Haunted Mansion bag and I discovered these bags last night (WAY late, I know). I was at Disneyland on Sept 24th for my birthday so I am half bummed if I missed out buying one from the store. I was reading the whole thread and I felt obligated to join!

Anyways, I've decided on the smaller crossbody and will be stalking like everyone else. I'm assuming they're quite hard to find at/near Disneyland/Downtown Disney from what I've read. I looked last night around 11:30pm (PST) and the messenger bag was available. Was half tempted to buy it, but I figure I'd rather wait for the small one. $108 seems a lot more reasonable in my head.

Thanks for posting all the info, was nice to read all about them, and see the pictures to decide which bag. Many people don't have comparison sizes and I'm horrible at dimensions.

Scored myself (at least virtually, anyway) a HM Tote on the website last night. The "add to cart" button appeared, but only worked for about a minute, because once I added, it took about a minute to complete my order, and I was going to go back to get another for a friend, but by then, the button was not working, and never did again. I've found through sad experience that once the "add" button becomes active, it continues to appear that way even when sold out, until about 2:00 am pacific time, when it goes back to that depressing red and white "sold out". I did get an order confirmation, but let's see if this one actually arrives, or if I have to implore a CM to divert one from a park...I missed out on LCs and wristlets last week, but wasn't too sad about the LCS because of all of the reports of flaking. Here's to hoping the perpetual "sold out" situation for HMs is getting better!

Congrats on getting the tote (hopefully!) I saw the tote was available and hoped they'd restock everything, but they didn't. The totes went super fast.

Half of me wants to try Vault 28 today to see if they have the crossbody, but I also don't want to drive over for no reason. I wish they'd answer their phone. Hopefully they restock a bunch more of everything soon.
