New! Haunted Mansion-Inspired Dooney & Bourke Bag

does anyone know the size of the new haunted mans. d&b handbag?

The dimensions listed for the carrier bag are
13H x 15W x 6.5 D

I haven't heard anything definitive about other styles yet.

Good news & bad news.

Good news is the rep at D&B said that the style was not listed as being discontinued, so it should still be made.

The bad news is she said there was no date as to when they'd be shipping it out to Disney and that I should contact Disney for more information. When I told her Disney had been no help, she apologized (about time somebody does!) and told me that D&B does get the dates on when they're ready to ship out proudct. So we just have to keep checking!

No problem! Also have you guys noticed that the "review" asking to preorder the bag has almost 150 likes? And that's just from finding the hidden page, hitting the reviews, and actually reading that one. That doesn't account for all the people who might stumble upon it on the website or see it in the parks, I would be very surprised if Disney doesn't release these in bigger numbers, similar to the SM Dooneys. If all 150 people bought one bag, that'd be almost $50,000.

20 bucks says they're telling all their reps to say there will be no more bags so when they bring them back they can act like they're doing a huge favor for their customers.

Well, I'm giving up on my dream to own one if these bags (mostly). I was able to get on the reservations list for a custom made Serendipi~D bag. Check her out on Facebook. Now, if the Disney store suddenly were stocked with HM bags, and I happened upon this, and the lining was purple and all the planets were aligned properly, I would still get the HM bag. But for now, I'm happy as a clam knowing that I'll have a custom made bag this time next year.

April 18th was being tossed around for a while. But D&B said they didn't have any shipping out soon, unless the purple bags are a different product number.

Very true. But, if you have to keep checking the site, you might find something else you simply must have ($$$), kind of like those impulse buy items at store checkouts . . .

Is anybody subscribed to the disney store emails? I'm not, but parks merchandise (and we all know how knowledgeable *they* are) said an email went out saying that it would be back online in either april (probably not) or august, she couldn't remember.

No bags in the park today according to her computer.

I tried calling disney store to confirm this email and they were just like "We can't access when products will be back in stock." Even though I wasn't asking about that, just asking if an email was sent out with this information to hundreds of thousands of people... *le sigh*
