New! Haunted Mansion-Inspired Dooney & Bourke Bag

I have one of each of the Laepsortsac Small World purses and am not too excited about the Vera's......thought I was done! NOPE, will be buying this in Oct on our trip. My only issue is I wish the lining was purple. This will be my first DB, I have picked them up before and couldn't go thru with it , but this one I WILL have!

I'm not a huge fan of this bag, but I can see its appeal!

Just a note about D&B bags--they are heavy. Heavy before you put any of your stuff inside.

I agree......really heavy. Heavy enough that when I switched back to my Sketch bag last week my back was like "what are you doing to me". I also carry a lot in my bags though.

I read that the bags have arrived but will not be on the sales floor until Friday. I also read that the cast members said the bags do not include the Haunted Mansion leather hang tag. If that's the case it's a deal breaker for me, I like the bag, but I LOVE the bag with the tag. The tag really makes it special for me.

Do you think this rumor is true? I can't wait until Friday to find out for sure. Also, I am already seeing them on Ebay for $400 or so. I wish they'd just release it online at the same time.

The blog was clear, they are included "I love the subtle details on the bag, including the spooky grey and black color palette with red interior, the infamous wallpaper pattern, and even the hang tag with the attraction logo." Perhaps the CMs just don't know because the bags aren't for sale yet? I agree the hang tang makes the bag.

If we don't have anyone else on the ground, I'll be there in another 9 days to give an update.

Someone on the Disney D&B Facebook page bought one the other day. They were accidently put out on the floor for a few hours. Hers did NOT come with a hangtag.

Sometimes the hang tags are inside an interior pocket somewhere so it doesn't get lost in shipping, maybe she didn't find it yet? That's a real bummer if it doesn't come with it. Not a deal-breaker for me, but still a bummer.

My mother is a big D&B fan. The past few years I've asked for a nice handbag for my birthday or Christmas and she's tried to push D&B bags on me. I didn't bite. Not my style at all.
Last week I sent her the picture as a gift hint and she was so happy there was a D&B bag I liked! It was like she welcomed me into a cult!

But! Hate the price! Wow! I can't even imagine spending that much on a purse. I won't spend more than $50 on one. But it sure is pretty! Hope those that do get them enjoy them.

I bought a Disney Dooney in 2010. I use it all the time. I plan on getting this when we go in October. it is $330. However, I luck out and my sister is going to get it for me with her discount!

I am very excited to hear this information too. I was bummed that we left on the 10th (I asked a few places if there was any way I could buy it a few days early and was shot down...oh well, atleast I tried). I have the WDW retro style and love it....the HM one seems so cute! I am waiting for the online release
