I'm starting to worry I won't like my tote either because of the size. Do you know how much smaller the Smith is? I wish they had a Satchel.

If they had a satchel I wouldn't think twice about buying it off eBay. I love satchels...especially Dooney satchels.

I'm so jealous of everyone that has gotten theirs!! Mine said it shipped 3 days ago, but when I track it, it still says "lable has been made. It will be scanned when it arrives at our facility" or something like that. Anyone have this message too? Should I be worried? I'm trying to be patient but it's so hard!

Is that 13 height on the smith includes the flap being up but I think people tend to keep the flap folded over making it shorter than the tote.

I'd love to see a side by side of the 2.

In the photo posted of the bags on the table in the shop the smith looked smaller than the tote because of how the flap is worn down.

Yes, the 13" is with the flap up. I just checked, and it looks to be roughly 10" with the flap down.

I was actually speechless when my husband found a Smith bag in Disneyland. I pretty much gave up on ever getting one. I was very worried that it would be too big (reading other reviews) but was pleasantly surprised to see it was a perfect size!!

OK. I am not trying to offend anyone but I have an extra tote. I called/emailed Disney immediately about cancelling the duplicate order but was told it was too far along in the process to cancel. So now I either have to pay to return it to Disney or find someone to sell it to for my cost plus shipping. I don't want to mark the price up but ebay wants 10% and I don't know how much paypal will also want. I know I can't sell it through this forum but hope someone has a recommendation for online selling so I won't have to mark up the price. I buy a lot online but haven't sold anything online. If anyone has advice, I'm all ears

There is a DD&B group on Facebook that follows a pay it forward model. No mark-ups allowed, just cost and fees. Just search "Disney Dooney & Bourke"

There are tons of facebook groups that allow buying and selling even trading.

If someone pays you through PayPal but marks it as a gift, I think it's cheaper.

Dont forget that if you send money as a gift you are not under the buyer protection. If you get scammed you can't do anything. I recommend spending the extra few bucks for piece of mind.

I tried to PM you but have too few posts. I'm looking into the other options so I can get this off the forum since I'm not suppose to use it to sell items. The original intent of my post was only for info but I'll let you know if I go with a FB group since I'd like for someone who tried to get a tote to end up with it.

The bags are restocked at Uptown Jewelers! I got my letter carrier this morning when the parked opened! I'm here again now with my family and I don't think any of the letter carriers are available. I only see the other bags.
