Hopefully I'm posting this in the right forum. Our trip is planned for 5/30-6/6. I hadn't thought about making ADR until I started reading this board and friends were telling me "make them now or you won't get in".
I've read reviews all weekend, planned where we wanted to dine and hoped for the best when I called this morning. I think it was my lucky day
Sun...no definite plans yet, still deciding.
On Mon. we wanted the Safari character breakfast but couldn't get in at the beginning of the week. I opted for the Ohana Character breakfast and think it's one our boys will enjoy.
Our Tuesday is free....still deciding where to dine
Wed....Teppan Edo
Thurs....Ohana
Friday...Narcoose wasn't available so she suggested the California Grill. We're dining later than "normal" but she recommended this time so that we could view the fireworks from the observation deck.
All in all I'm happy and very relieved to have the ADR made. Did I do well for a first timer?
In addition to my lucky ADR, I requested a transfer to reservations and much to my surprise got my reservation changed from POR to CSR. It's not a waterview room but I'm hoping that maybe one will become available before then. The reservationist seemed very surprised that a room became available.
