New GCV brochure

:lmao: I hope you are wrong about that, but from many stories I've heard on the boards it seems like it might be true...

I was kinda sorta hopefully kidding on that. But I've done everything I can do to be in line on March 26..if my guide has quick buying skills that is! :)
He did say he was sure there would be plenty of points for non founders available, but that they would go quickly. Also, he thought sales would open to general public at same time as non founder existing members.

That is what my guide told me on Feb. 5th as well.

She generally works Tue / Thurs / Fri so I'm going to call her on March 24th to check on what offers are available (she said she SHOULD know then) and she can get things ready to roll the following day. Then I think we'll move forward first thing the 26th when she's back; I'm not 100% sure of the details [if she can hold my points in some way while she's out as we close the loop on paperwork] but she said I should be fine. At this point it looks like I'll probably only be buying 100 split onto 2 contracts, both cash, so it should be pretty cookie-cutter...

I hope (and expect) she's right.

Was anyone else a bit shocked when looking at the points chart??? I thought the points were rather high!:scared1:

I actually thought the points were just right. From what I have seen, there are no current DVC resorts that can compare to the Grand Californian.

We received our counter signed docs back today. Does that mean we are closed? I know the deed recording them comes at a later date, but what does 'closing' officially mean?

I've received our signed docs too, but I don't think it complete until fully recorded.
