New Gates Open

California Adventures new gates are up and running! They look good, although the 'adventure' bit seems at odds with the look overall. ' Disneys' california' would proably have done the job.

Rest of the park still a boardfest though. Walkway past GCH is absolutely packed, with GRR Fast pass, fp return, and woc all spilling out into thepathway.

I usually go to DL every other week so I can't wait to check out the new entrance to DCA.

I saw the new gates today! I wish they had been dne a few days ago, as today was our last day. But still, it's progress!

I was there the day before they officially opened, and on the official day. The day before the top part where the words are was still wrapped in clear plastic, and the construction walls were still in place in front. The next day it was officially opened and the walls were now behind the turnstiles. Thought it was neat that it was so fast. There's still construction and walls throughout DCA.

Not sure if I like what they are planning for the entrance, it reminds me too much of Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida, I kind of like the California summery theme.
