When I was attending one of the D23 Destination D events at WDW a few years back I ran into a retired couple who were working the event, mainly escorting D23 participants to the backstage and after-hours portions of the event.

I believe they were classified as Special Events or something like that. They said it was perfect for them - they could choose when they wanted to work and what events to work and it was not a lot of hours. Just enough to get all the benefits you describe. Something like that might be just the thing for you!

Just to update everybody, Val & I spent our first nights in our new house last week....on an air mattress!

We're back up north now. The movers are coming later this week to pack the house and we will be doing two drives to FL over the next two weeks to get our cars down there. We should be permanent by March 10th!

All we have to do then is get our FL license and register the cars to become "official". Oh, and maybe take advantage of some FL Resident specials from Disney.
