I've been wondering when we'd hear more about this event. Hat tip to Figment for posting this link on another page. Thought this one deserved it's own post.

It looks like there's a TON of food. And a lot of it looks very tasty. I'm just wondering now if any of it is gluten free for my Celiac wife. I'm sure I'll feel bad eating that Kalua Pork Slider and downing it with a frozen chocolate milk unless she can have something nice as well.

Wow. F&W had much less food and had a better mix of vegetarian, GF and variety of meat like fish, chicken, etc. It looks like almost everything has a bread component. The shrimp cocktail, ceviche and chickpea fritter look promising to possibly be GF. I do like that some of the booths look like they'll have quite a few items. I felt like we spent a lot of time waiting in various lines because there wasn't something that appealed to everyone at several of the booths.

I wish we had access to prices! With 6 of us on a budget, I would love to know ahead of time if we can manage the cost or if we should plan to eat elsewhere. My guess would be that things will be on the spendy side, but there are several things listed that I would like to try.

@Mamato4boys - if the DCA Festival is anything like the Epcot F&W, then prices for food will be in the $4-7 range per item. Alcohol will be about $7-9. We budget about $150 for F&W for our family of 4. Granted, the DCA Festival is smaller, but that should give you an idea what to expect.

I'm sure it will be like F&W - my husband and I spent about $50 on two main food items, one salad, a desert item, and wine/beer. It was yummy but they're tastes, so we ate it around 3 as a snack, not a meal.

Thank you both for the help on pricing! I think we will plan on doing something else... sounds like it is probably out of our budget. Good thing there are a lot of other options. :)

I agree - I'm vegetarian and I only notice a few things I'd like to try. I suppose that's better for our wallets! For F&W those cauliflower burritos were amazing. I'd love to have those again!

CANT WAIT!!! So much food and they all look great! Is there any information about if it is offered everyday or only on the weekends?

They new foods look wonderful! So excited to try the vanilla rice pudding with apple compote and cinnamon streusel crunch, warm holiday spiced wine, chicken & potato curry with Kefir cream and grilled naan, and the holiday eggnog cocktail with whipped cream and nutmeg dusting. :cloud9:

So. many. options.
Nice Disney! Nice variety and the food sounds tempting!
This is the one time I wish I had an annual pass so I would be able to spread out my list of things I want to try!
The sweet spiced noodle kugel, mango lassi, sweet potato pie, eggnog cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding are calling my name as far as sweets, yum. Oh, and the baklava....
Too many choices lol
Can't wait for reviews!

It all looks so good. We loved food and wine. My daughter and I would get 3 items and share, plus a dessert and that would be a meal. So much I want to try, so will have to pace myself. Grab a couple items and head to watch Viva Navidad!!
