New! Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise

This looks interesting -

It won't start until October apparently according to the ADR system, but at $99/head, is this something you'd be interested in? It does come with alcohol and is limited to 150 people per cruise.

I thought about it but it's $396 for our family of 4. We can book a private fireworks cruise for that. No alcohol included but I'm with my kids & don't like to drink too much with them.

Not sure - my wife and I were going to book it for our trip coming up BUT it doesn't start until October, so I guess we won't.

I just booked a trip for my DD and I on October 5th. I will give everyone a report when I return from my trip. I am excited!

Looking forward to hearing your report and hoping you will be able to include pics!

The list of desserts sound extremely unappealing to me, but I'm pretty much in the camp that if it doesn't have chocolate in it then it isn't a real dessert. Their list looked like a lot of fruit type of stuff with no chocolate :(

I think I will try it just to see. Sounds like fun, but I agree, it is pricey.

Just booked December 18th for dd12 and myself. We will be at Universal that week, but she wanted to do something "Disney" while the boys do Blue Man Group. This sounds great!

I had this booked earlier today for our December trip, as a way to see Holiday Wishes (not going to a party), but I came to my senses and cancelled it before I was charged.

We'll watch from somewhere else if we decide we really want to see it. This really is WAY overpriced.

One thing I'm wondering is how many people they will accept each night. Those ferries are huge.

It stated that the event is limited to 150 people per night to provide optimum viewing opportunities.

I booked this for our trip in December. We are not going to a MVMCP, so this would be a cool way to see the holiday version of Wishes. If the early reviews are bad, I'll cancel, but I was looking for one "special" event for our trip.

The website has the capacity for the boat at 150

Just my personal opinion but I'm not really seeing the value in this. For $15 more you can buy a one day ticket to MK, or even if you are here during one of the parties those tickets are way cheaper than this, one hour on the ferry, desserts and fireworks. You can easily see the fireworks for free from the TTC or even the walkway between Poly and GF.
I'm interested in the reviews as well

It is really all relative. My husband and sons will be paying close to the same amount for a concert that night so the price does not seem extravagant to us. It usually isn't an either or situation, most people attending will have park tickets (we have universal tickets for the day). This is a premium add on that Disney is offering and typically doesn't take the place of a park visit.

Wow. I thought I saw the limits of Disney offering packages for no value with the Osborne Lights packages last year, but this takes the cake. Offering desserts on a transportation ferry for $99/head? LOL! Especially considering that the boat captains would often stop the ferries--FOR FREE--during Wishes in the past, this blows my mind.
