New FD Bounceback is out

I'm really hoping there will be public free dining next year. We plan on going in September. But my dates are pretty flexible.
I read an article on disneytouristblog and he seems to think this bb offer is a sign of a lot of free dining availability next year.

So let me get this straight. If I fly down on September 7, spend the night on-site, and return on the 8th (Total cost <$300) I can save over $1300 for a family of 4 if our vacation falls within the window for the FD BB offer?

Does the room where I stay determine the room where I can book? Or can I stay in the lowliest value and book at the fanciest allowed deluxe resort, for example?

This is unbelievably tempting. Who wants to put my name on the res so I can book one too?

Took the advice here to hedge my bets and booked a weekend getaway just so I could book FD for our big (and only) vacation next summer! I kind of feel silly but also excited. I'm taking youngest DS and we got our RT air for only $111.40 thanks to Frontier having a crazy sale and the last of my Southwest points. Of course the cheap airfare dates means 2 hotel nights which are pricey but we'll try to eat cheaply and just hang by the pool for the day.

Fingers crossed our #1 resort choice is still available mid-September.

So if someone forgot the brochure, checked out, and tried to make a bounce back reservation while waiting for their flight at MCO, they would call the number on the brochure at the beginning of this thread and everything should be ok?

Last year I booked the bounce back after we checked out and we were on our way to the beach. I did everything from the car. I called on Monday and was told that you have to make the reservation by 10:00p.m. on the day you check out. It doesn't have to be from your room either. I (obviously) used the number on the brochure and had no problems. I also transferred the reservation to my travel agent and went through her for any modifications. I ended up adding a total of 3 additional nights to the original reservation.

I just phoned to clarify some information. The offer doesn't expire until October 31. Also, unless I heard wrong, the BB is from May 3 and not May 30th. It also includes most of the value resorts.
I'm guessing they have just changed the offer up a bit.

I think you are now the 3rd person to say this. I am getting more hopeful that I will be able to book a Bounce Back Offer when I check in on October 1!

You could add days to your ticket without losing the free dining bounceback, but you need to be careful if you plan to do this. We booked a free dining bounce back in August of last year. Disney raised their ticket prices sometime later, I can't remember when. If you left your package alone and didn't make any changes, your package stayed the same price. But if you made any changes to your package, Disney had the right to charge the new ticket price. A lot of people were hit with an increase when they changed their package after free dining was announced this spring.

I was looking for the new BB RO offer (do not really care for FD) and I did find some info on resorts that I know some posts have asked about.
Excluded resorts:

• Fort Wilderness Campsites
• All-Star Movies
• 3-bedroom villas
• Port Orleans French Quarter
• Port Orleans Riverside (Dec. 8 – Dec. 20, 2017)
• Villas along the Disney monorail line
• Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Little Mermaid rooms

I'm curious about this... The fine print in the brochure lists the 3 bedroom villas, bungalows, and the campsites as being excluded, but does not say anything about either PO resort. But I have seen this list of excluded resorts posted by people in multiple areas. Where are people getting the information for these excluded resorts and why would they have additional excluded resorts not listed on the brochure? I am already devastated that I cannot stay at Artt of Animation in the little mermaid room like I had planned, the only other resorts I would consider is POR.

BB RO offer for 2017 is not out yet only the FD BB. POR was included for the 2016 RO offer.

Thanks! That will honestly probably be the only way to set my mind at ease. We will be there next month and, naively, I had already planned our vacation for 2017 assuming bounceback would include the resort we wanted.

I'm not looking for a room only discount, I am referring to free dining. What I am confused about is reading the fine print on the brochure that is in the first post. The fine print does not say PO is excluded. I don't know why Disney would tell people it is excluded when the brochure they are putting in the rooms as advertisement does not include it as an exclusion.

You can book one BB room per adult on the current reservation, but the booking adult must remain the lead on each room.

I have a question regarding this offer. I currently have a stay planned this August (2016) at a Fort Wilderness campsite, but I am interested in booking a stay next summer (August 2017) at Pop Century during the free dining dates. I know campsites can't be booked for the free dining, but if I'm staying in the campsite in 2016, would I be eligible to book free dining at Pop Century for 2017? Any help and guidance is appreciated! Thanks!
