New FD Bounceback is out

I meant what Smitch said. I meant if you go down and stay one day at a value resort just so you could book a BB offer for next year (as was asked) that you can book the BB offer resort as any type, not just value because you're currently staying at a value. The type of dining plan received free during you BB stay is based on the resort you are staying at during that trip. Value = Quick service dining plan, Mod/Deluxe = Regular Disney dining plan. Of course you can pay extra to upgrade your free dining BB plan to the next plan. Hope that helps.
Duh, on my part:) I totally misinterpreted the question. I knew where you currently stayed did not effect where you could stay in the future with BB. I was thinking someone was able to stay value but get DDP free during that stay.

We check out on October 1st.....So as long as I book before September 30th, I am still eligible; correct?

Is the Bounce Back Free Dining offer the sort of thing that sells out? Would going now versus late September give me a better chance of booking something? Does it depend entirely on availability for the dates I want to book, or are there a limited number of bounce backs offered?

The offer ends September 30th so it will not be available if you go in late October....they might have a different offer then, but will probably only be for room offers not FD.

And we have never had an issue with selling out, and we tend to go at the end of the window when the offer is available. Last two years it was one week before the offer ended and we were able to book the hotel and dates we wanted, so I am not sure about whether there is a limited amount offered.

As excited as we are to stay at the poly next week. We will be going back to pop century with free dining. I told my kids this is like the Disney cruise a one time thing. We go for two weeks and the cost of food is just nuts. We are doing a 1/2 Unviersal stay this trip. Normally we just do the free QSDP for two weeks which for us is the best discount. We will probably book for the last 2 weeks in August again. This year we are going early because my parents are going. I canceled our BB for this year and then booked a room discount with a TA.

We booked our BB last year in late August for a Gardenview room at POR. I heard that some people booking the BB in late September had some difficulty getting any types of rooms at POR for the similar dates we were going. So, I believe that it does get a bit harder to get the room/resort you want, the later you book.

We booked our FD BB the last time on October 8th. So pretty close to the end of the promotion at that time, and we booked for a long trip and had no problems with our dates or resort. Got our first pick, though I did have alternate dates in mind just in case.

Just remember that in order to book the BB offer, you have to do it while you are there...you can't wait until you get home (unless you do it right away the same day, I've heard some folks were successful doing that.) It has to be no later than the day you check out.

Can we book a bounceback offer through our favorite Disney travel agent? Or do we have to do it ourselves? Can we give our agent the special code and have them call before our stay is over, so we can focus on having fun in the parks?

I think you have to book by calling the number in the brochure. Once you get home, you can transfer that booking to your TA...mine had me fill out a form she sent to the Disney folks, and that gave her control over the reservation. You can change dates, (as long as they are still within the time frame of the offer) guests(except for the LEAD guest who was a guest when the BB was originally booked), and length of stay, (again, as long as it's within the BB offer). You have to put down the room deposit when you book.

First question: Do we have to stay 6 nights/7 days at a minimum in order to receive free dining?
Second question: If we stay longer than that (if we need to meet 6 night requirement), do we receive free dining for the additional days? Thanks!!

Minimum of 3, maximum of 14

I'm looking more closely at the free dining 2017 bounce back offer, and it looks like you you have to book a moderate or better resort and get park hopper tickets in order to get free dining. Is this true?

You will need to add park hopper or water park tickets to get FD. Values should be included, just ask when you call. We stayed at CBR last year and booked BB for POP this year.

So I have an interesting situation...we were planning a one night stay at Disney before we head to visit family in central Florida. I don't think we are going to be able to go now, but I was wondering if I just kept the reservation at Disney, would I be able to book a bounce back???? I could do online check-in. I guess my question is, do they really know if you are there or not if you do online check in and have the room number texted to you. Just a crazy thought that popped into my head since I have already paid for the room. Any thoughts?

What happens if you book the BB but need to change dates months later (waiting on school calendar). Can you still get offer if you booked BB and dates are within BB offer?
