So ive read several threads that mention a "new fast pass system". Can someone please let me in on what they arre talking about. What exactly does the new fast pass sytem entail. Im going to WDW Sept 18-25 (I literally cant wait:cool1: ) and want to know if this will affect the 6 day hopper I already bought.

Thanks in Advance :)

I was there a couple weeks ago, and everything was the same as before in all four parks - EXCEPT they are strictly enforcing the return times and not allowing you so use the fastpass after the one hour window is up. There was some testing apparently going on earlier this summer, which you can read about in this thread:
xPass thread

As for the future, I think it's safe to say we really don't know for sure. My personal guess is there won't be a substantial change before your trip. Whatever happens, I don't think it would be likely to have an effect on your tickets.

Have a great trip!

No changes for your trip.

Don't "expect" any changes to FP before mid to late 2013 at the earliest. Other things have to happen first before FP changes can be implemented.

Disney can change things up on a very short time window though when they choose to.

Do searches on "xPASS". A lot of it revolves around being able to book ride times in advance.

There has been some testing of some things, but it appears they are still a ways off from implementation.

Ahhh how exciting :) I am literally counting the days down! How do you think weather will be!?

Not sure. I think it's going to be hot but I have never gone in September before although most times I have been there in August and it is very hot then!

I'm hoping it won't be quite as hot in September!

I am soo excited! It is also my first time going to MNSSHP!

We are staying at ASMu, CBR is my favorite but budgets! At least we are going!!!

Where are you staying?

Good luck with your ressies!! Keep me updated on where you finally are staying and maybe we can meet up or something! I'm always so amazed at the other Disney fanatics out there besides me! None of my friends are into Disney like me and don't feel all the excitement that we Disers do!!:woohoo::woohoo:

Hopefully it won't be too hot and humid or rainy for our stay!:thumbsup2:goodvibes

I realize we're veering off topic but it should be quite comfortable, highs in the 80s based on my previous Sept trips. Also, expect the crowds to be very managable, making your park touring more efficient - which will reduce the impact of the strict return times and gets us back on topic :)I

any info is appreciated :woohoo: will it be humid? im from AZ so im used to dry heat hahaha i literally melt in the humidity :headache: I know FL is pretty much always humid haha but i hope its not as bad as August.

We go every Sept, and it's still quite hot, depending on what you're used to. We live in SE Louisiana, so we're used to hot, humid, muggy. So no big deal lol. Highs in the low to mid 90's, random rain showers, etc. good news is that when it rains, the light-weights leave or hide, and you can walk onto just about any ride.

Ahh we Arizonans die in the humidity haha. But it will be worth it! Im hoping it does rain as people do leave :) thank you!

In the past the CMs would honor a fastpass ticket beyond the time window. Now you have to go at the designated time window in preparation for a new fastpass system that has yet to be determined when it will take effect. Probably not until Fantasyland is complete.:cool1:
