New Fall 2021 Itineraries Announced!

Has booking opened up for Gold members online yet? I just checked the site and I'm only seeing availability through September 2021.

People are posting Gold quotes so I think it is available. Did you checked you were logged in with your CC number?

I’m confused. Why would you need to put a cabin on hold. Why not complete the transaction. Or are you holding the cabin, then calling to finish transaction. Like using a placeholder. Assuming you can only hold a cabin on your designated booking day.

Maybe you're trying to choose between 2 cruises, so you hold one while you look at the other one and then decide? (My theory)

you do have to sign on to see. Just in case you didn’t.

Thanks - I was logged in but for some reason it wasn't registering I was gold. I logged out and back in and then it worked. :confused3

Now, if only they'd let you apply a placeholder without having to call.

I book for my parents. I put the room on hold and then they go in and pay the deposit. We get connecting rooms, so it’s easier for me to reserve the rooms myself than for both of us to log in on our own.

I'm pleased to see that the rates are similar to opening prices for 2020. The year before, from 2019 to 2020, there was quite a price hike.

Costco Travel was quick and efficient this morning. We used our 125% credit from the canceled 10 night Hawaii cruise and booked the 8 night Eastern Caribbean Oct. 16-24 2021. DW's excited to spend that 1K+ on board credit we now have :P

They only put approx 8 rooms per category on the website, so I sometimes have to call in to get the room I want. In my case I put the cabin on hold as a courtesy to the CM taking my call and my fellow cruisers that are waiting on hold to book. I use gift cards to pay for my cruise, so I just call and get cabin on hold. I can then go log-in on my own and enter all of my gift cards to pay off the cruise deposit. This way the CM is not having to enter all of my cards and my fellow cruisers are not waiting on hold opening day for me to enter my stack of cards. I'm happy, CM is happy and fellow DCL cruisers are happy. I love new itinerary opening day.

This was our first cruise back in 2015, it even left on the same date (September 27th!) It's not what you would call a warm weather cruise (we live in Vancouver and the temps were fine for us but we saw plenty of others in hats, gloves, sweaters etc!). It was a bit rough the second night (leaving Victoria) as you are then entering open waters, but it wasn't too bad at all. It's a short cruise so it goes by pretty quickly but it was a good introduction to cruising for us :)
Thank you for the information!! I wouldn’t have thought about it being a cool weather cruise. I’m glad you mentioned that!👍😃
