Hiya

Im excited I got a new part time job today (to earn some spends for usa, on top of my normal job)

Im now an avon rep, I am so excited its a whole new thing for me and I hope it raises my confidence when talking to people

Yes, dont bother looking at the book yourself, dont buy the end of line offers, only order the stationary and bags you really need, If you are going around houses, buy some frezzer bags to put your books in and ask people if they are not going to be in or dont want anything, to leave the books outside, after all you pay for the books and you can always use them for 2 campagins as you can back order. Only order samples if a customer wants a specfic one, all of these things eat into your profit.

I always do my order online as you get an extra 2 days of selling this way, and dont (as I learnt very early on) Leave any order without payment unless you know them well. I spent my first week running back after people who never seemed to be in once I had given them the order.

Do though have a look at the link brouchure as you can pick up some things very cheap before they come out in the official brouchures, espescally when you have established what your customers like, most of these things you can only purchase 1 of, but they come at great savings and you will probably be able to sell them at full brochure price.

Good luck with it! I do body shop at home in my "spare" time, which is good fun. I echo the comments though about not spending your profit on buying products for yourself - it's soooo easy to do though!
