The Caring for Giants one-hour excursions begins tomorrow. Perhaps the guests meet in that Safari area where the Express Bus guests used to meet?

ETA: Found the answer from the Giants tour info:
"Please check in 15 minutes prior to start of experience at the Animal Experiences booth, located across from the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction entrance. Late arrivals may not be able to join the experience."
I booked this when it was first announced. They told me it's the same check in as the Savor the Savanna tour, and Wild Africa Trek, so it's across the walkway from where they had the Express Check in area

Nothing to worry about. No park has closed to anything more than single day ticket guests in years. Even with the new attractions at AK it will be nothing to worry about for PH guests. The new areas in AK also mean more guests can fit in AK
I'm building my visit around using Express Transportation and arriving at AK around sundown on multiple nights, so I worry. It's what I do. Thanks.

Let me know how it is! I've got one booked for May 8 and I'm curious to see reviews

But the other tours were already meeting over there... hmmm...
The Giants tour is comprised of walkers who will also be in the backstage areas. That's the only thing I could think of... one more tour group meeting and walking in the area on a more regular and all day/most of the day basis.

And there are several of these tours a day too

would this be worth it for our trip in december 3 to the 13 for me and the hubby?
Do you have park hoppers?
Do you plan to park hop?

For me, I'm counting on it. I want to be able to visit Pandora by night so I'll use the service to start my day in one park and then hop over to AK at sunset when I imagine scads of other people will be heading there so being able to skip the security line will be worth it to me.

Yes we will have hoppers and plan to hop. I was just unsure if the crowds would warrant the need for it. But it may be worth it to just get to epcot for dinner and back.

Crowds really have no bearing on if this is worth it or not. Crowded or not, going through security and turnstiles takes time. Not to mention, it's further walks to the bus stops outside the parks. And don't discount knowing the time the bus comes vs. just waiting and waiting and having no clue when the next bus is due. There are no times when the Express Bus won't save time. And effort.

Yep, it'll be worth it. My mom and I had it for one day in February (when it was still $15, now with the price change, we probably would have bought the 7 day pass). It was awesome. I wish we would have used on our DHS heavy day because the walk to the bus and the wait was hot and long. It would've been sooooo much better to have taken the Express Bus to MK and a boat back to WL.
And even though Epcot's is down by Spaceship Earth, it still beat walking across the pavement to the normal bus stops and waiting for who knows how long.

We love the dining options at Epcot. We are booked for Beach Club this August just to be able to dine there more and then easily walk back to our room. Now with this express bus service, we can use Epcot as a hub to avoid long security line. International Gateway usually has less people. I could walk to Epcot, grab an ice cream from France or shop a little at Japan, and walk to the check in kiosk, then board a bus to MK. It's better than going through the MK security line. I may have to walk a bit more but I get to do what I enjoy more often. The purpose of this bus service, to me, is not to beat the crowd, but to re-define how I tour WDW. I can visit an AM EMH park, hop to another park right after 10 for FP+ rides, hop to Epcot for lunch, go back to hotel to rest, go to Epcot for an early dinner or snack, and then hop to another park for night time activities or dinner. Just the thoughts get me excited!

This is our plan also, I hope it is not to packed at night.

Does anyone think it would be faster to take the express bus from AK to MK and then get on the boat to our resort the Poly or would it be just as fast to take the Poly bus back to the resort from AK?

I think taking the buss to the poly form AK
unless you are back in the area and the buss is leaving right then and you are a fast walker and can walk fast to the front of MK and the boat is waiting for you,

but no way to know how long you will wait for a normal buss at AK or who long you will wait at MK for a boat

Nevermind, I read your trip backwards.
In your scenario, I think it's probably about even
